Julie! You probably won't see this but regarding you hoya pubicalyx, it's growing so long because it is looking for support! Give that bad boy a trellis to climb and it will explode with leaves! That is the case with most hoya! Also- the variegation is actually splashing and it can be partially controlled by light! It's not variegation, but little air bubbles that form in the surface of the leaf!

I'd love to see an updated plant tour of the house. Jenna had so many incredible plants, and as a person whose home also looks like a small jungle, I'd love to see their progress someday! I love the office's aesthetic and hoyas have a special place in my heart too. I just recently got a variegated rubber tree like yours and I'm obsessed with how pretty the leaves are.

Yes - he looks etiolated… you can also chop the top off, let it callus over and then plant it. It should root up :)

Julien! Plant lady here! If you put in an humidifier and pop your plants in self watering, then you'll see your plants go crazy! Your plants love humidity at least above 50%. A 50-60% for a room is just fine. They live for high tempatures, so if you can provide around 20-25 degrees celsius ( I just googled it, and it should be 68 to 77 fahrenheit) they'll grow quite fast! You can also look into fertilizing! You said you wanted the raphidora tetrasperma to go around the room - it can easily do that. However I'd suggest looking into any type of scindapsus or epipremnum for that! If you give the raphidora tetrasperma a mosspole, and prop it a little, you can get a solid bushy plant. However - super gorgeous plants! If you're digging hoyas, I can recommend looking into any form of splash variations - They have silver spots in them! Absolutely gorgeous! Also, my two absolute favorite hoyas are Hoya Wayetii Variegata and Hoya Krohnina Silver (Some call it eskimo, but please don't call it that) A mature Monstera Deliciousa Large Form would look BOMB in your plant corner aswell! ... And as any plant lover... You need the legend ... The instagram plant.. The Monstera Deliciousa Albo Variegata 😂

My grandma has a Hoya Hindu Rope plant that is about 80 years old (she inherited it from her dad) and if we unraveled it, it’d be about 35-40 feet long! About 2 years ago, my mom and I got cuttings from it. Little did we know, we had to take our cuttings and send them to a local nursery so they could professionally be grown strong enough to be potted on their own. I’ve had my cutting for roughly 18 months and have already gotten it to bloom. Hoya’s are beautiful and sooo much fun when they bloom!!!!!

Plant styling a space is my favourite thing!!! I’ve been collecting for over 2 years now and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life (also frustrating at times lol I hate spidermites). It’s taught me how to keep a routine, gave me an outlet for my creativity and became a bit of a zen-ritual when doing plant-care! Seeing new people get into plants is so exiting!
