Hi , what an amazing performance, i love joe hisaishis music so much and I love your sound. For how long have you played violin? Can you please tell me how you learn the songs by ear, do you listen to them and then search the notes on the violin? I play the violin for 6 months now and i have played piano for 10 years and before that i played the guitar for 4 years but i have never played anything without sheet music. I would really like to learn that ability because i dont want to rely on sheets all the time. Can you give me some tips? Greetings from the Netherlands.😀🎵🎶🎻🎹

Myhoko ! I have been playing for 20 years now. But I honestly haven't made any improvement for the last 10 years hh (more regression because of other schedule). To play by ear, I think I was trained when I was younger with the piano at first. The teacher would play a note, and we had to write it down (I could sing it in my head, from a reference note like an A I had in my head). Now with experience I can rather hear the note directly. Sometimes I still have difficulties hearing flats and sharp, I know it s a F, but I m not sure if it is F# or not just like this hh. I see, you must be a good musician playing piano for 10 years! After it s really about doing it a lot I think! The more you do, the easier it becomes I think
