Hey guys! Sorry I missed the premiere. Holiday time is getting kind of crazy and I'm trying to still film and edit in between to get these videos posted in time. I hope you guys all enjoyed the video! :)

Thank you for the kitmas series, I'm enjoying every video! I didn't know much about light temperature and how important it is for makeup. Learned again from your videos. We all have had that experience of seeing our makeup indoors, then going outside and be surprised (not to say appalled 😨) at how different it was.

Yes a lot of people don't realize how much color theory really is involved with makeup artistry, but super important to know :) I learned this the hard way and was VERY appalled a few times and couldn't figure out why my makeup looked so different outdoors haha!

Loving your videos❣️ I’m so glad that SO FAR, my clients have a place with an ample amount of natural lighting. I’m saving up for a good lightning for the “just in case”.

That’s great!! The only time natural light may not happen is if you’re working really early in the morning or really late at night. Don’t need to spend a lot when you first start but having an artificial light source of some kind is great for those times!

It's always helpful to have an extra surge protector thingy just in case there aren't a lot of outlets. Great video!

It is SO wild how much lighting changes color. Before adjusting the light it looked like your foundation was off by several shades in some of the setups, but as soon as the lighting was corrected it looked right. Sometimes right after I do someone’s makeup, they run off to look in a mirror in a bathroom or bedroom after they see it in my lighting, and it makes me nervous because I have no idea what that lighting will look like. Usually it’s more dimly lit and yellow in tone and people will panic even though they JUST saw how amazing it looked in natural light, and loved it. It’s like “no wait! Come back to the light!” 😂😂

Yes!! Lighting can definitely change the way makeup looks no doubt!

I love Kitmas! Thank you! Question should the light be placed in front of client or to side? Loved the colour theory and lighting tips! Wishing you a safe happy healthy Christmas and New year.

Thank you so much Beverly! It should be placed in front of your client (just think of it as the sun haha). Make sure you aren't casting any shadows! Hope you and your family have a great holiday!
