Got lots of questions about why only one Christmas in this house. I spoke out loud without really thinking. So I guess I'll share our plans. We are giving ourselves till the end of the school year to decide where we want to live- Louisiana or Mississippi. If we stay here in Mississippi, we are going to sell our Louisiana home and upgrade our home here. We do not love this house. Although I like it more with every project, there are things we just can't change. It’s a great investment (the home you’re in now).☺️ With every project and upgrade the home increases in price. Do all of this while your kiddos are young. It would definitely be harder when they’re in High School or even Senior Year like my youngest. Lol 😂 He would not have gone to another state with us because of graduation!😆🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ We would like to possibly move, but not till after he graduates in June 2022.

So many great finds!!! FYI-- The big "nail" is a chisel. The tool boxes are great!! and the big wire basket-- oh my goodness!! I love it IT. The spoon bill print is beautiful.

Great stash Julie. I am loving the print it's lovely. It has a plate number so may be valuable too. My favorite would be the angels they are beautiful. Awe and the tool box with repairs that will be handy. So will the plastic art drawers perfect fit for your transfers and stamps etc. Gosh it's always hard to pick a favorite with what you find and do!!! Good job you know how to be selective and get just what you can use and need. 10 points!😇

*Julie, as so many people have already commented, your galvanized bucket is a minnow bucket used to keep your bait alive and fresh for fishing🎣 🚣‍♂️. Once you launch your fishing boat, you lower the minnow bucket over the side of the boat with a polypropylene rope, and the holes 🕳 allow the bucket to fill with lake or river water. Then, you pour the water and minnows out of the container the bait shop sold you into the bait bucket. Since your minnows can swim in the bait bucket, they stay fresh and alive, which helps you catch fish.💙😊 I would have grabbed that minnow bucket, too!!! I think it would look GREAT as a Christmas 🎄 tree holder for a tall narrow tree. And, since our family loves fishing,🎣 🚣‍♂️ I would decorate it with bobbers, fishing lures, small round bait boxes like the ones that night crawlers 🪱 (worms) come in, fishing flies, a few fishing reels, and I would try to find (or make my own) ornaments that look like bass, walleye, crappy, perch, 🐟 catfish, trout, crayfish 🦞 and a tackle box 🧰 or two.😊 Maybe even try to find or make a canoe, 🛶 oars, a small fishing boat with motor 🚣‍♂️ and anchor,⚓a boat trailer and life jackets, too. What a CUTE FISHING-THEMED 🐟 🎣🎏 Christmas🎄Tree it would make for the anglers 🎏 in my family - or yours, Julie❣*

You got some great stuff. I have been looking for the Rubbermaid containers. I don't think they make them anymore. I had one in my work shop, it fell apart. Yes I have a work shop. I refinished antiques for 25 years. And I still use it to paint things and to put flower arrangements . Yes it is a shock! When someone needs a tool? who do they call. Julie!! My Dad had a tool box like that he made. My daughter found it before we sold my parents home. She got it clean it up and made a Christmas Gift. It made me cry like a Baby. I knew where it came from. Means so much to me!

My husband's grandfather had one of those toolboxes. When he passed on, my husband received it. I just love those toolboxes! You ended up with a nice haul! The angels are gorgeous! And, I love watching your videos......it is so nice to see someone who really enjoys what she does!!!
