If somebody told me a year ago I'd be happy sitting and watching another woman shop in antique and thrift stores on YT, I'd have told them they were crazy!! But every time you go and shop, I sit her glued to my laptop and enjoying every bit of the experience just like I was there with you!!! LOL I cut apart an old queen size mattress I got for free and what a PITA that was, but the metal frame and coils are now sitting outside getting all nice and rusty! I'm going to use it in an outdoor room, hanging close to the ceiling, with little twinkle lights in it! That store had AMAZING stuff in it!!! Thanks for taking us with you!

Hi Julie! What a fun trip to the store. Thanks for taking us along. Did anyone answer your question about the baker's table? You put flour and sugar in the bins at the bottom and scoop it right out for your baking recipes. My grandmother used some of her drawers in her kitchen the same way. My old house built in 1938 (old for California) came with a flour drawer. It had a tin lining with a sliding top. For someone who bakes a lot - what an easy way to access your flour and sugar! And guess what my grandmother did? She would make fresh donuts in a big old pot on her stove and drop the donuts in another drawer where we could pull one out and dip in the sugar drawer. Yum!

Ok, you seem to outdo every video you do. Your travels or just junking, antiquing, thrifting is just so much fun. I see things when you are out and get so excited. First it was the place right in your now town, can't think of the name, but the rusty junking store, I thought that was my favorite place you visited. But no, you had to go to the Marketplace last weekend and bought the winter barn picture. I decided that was my favorite video. But TODAY, Sheffield's, OMG. Fabulous, you need to go back a whole Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I've never been to those areas. LOVED, so many pieces. People in the comments have given you many more reasons to get out and get some more inspirational shopping. Unfortunately, little set back from knee surgery. I can't even go to Goodwill right now. So all of these thrifting videos make my long days with my leg up a bit brighter. Thanks.

Julie! If you’ve never been to canton, Texas for First Monday Trade Days, you have to go! I live in Idaho and I’ve been there 4 times, so you and a friend or husband need to take several days and go. They always have those long skinny benches there for a lot less than the price at the antique mall. Also the wood carved pillar top risers you see as display pieces in stores. They always have loads of farm tin and vintage metals. Gobs of spindles. Twice a year it works out to be the same week/weekend as round top/Warenton, Tx. Warrenton is similar to canton in that it is a lot more flea market booths.

I have an obsession with cabinets with drawers and I’m blessed to have a husband that loves to yard sale and he’s always on the lookout for me and he’s got some absolutely fabulous pieces for me for cheap! I wish I could post pictures but my pride and joy is a 30 drawer apothecary cabinet that is 6 feet long and about 4 feet high ( $200.)and I have a haberdashery cabinet with the glass front drawers ( $100.) but I have probably fifteen old antique cabinets of different sizes. Most of them found in landlocked Juneau, Alaska! I’m an artist and I have an art studio so it’s filled with my cabinets. I even have a autopsy table that is white enamel and rolls so easily that I put a cutting board to cover the top since it’s made to drain, ugh as one of my tables.($25.)
