I agree that you shouldn't do anything to the antique blue Hall pitcher. I have a bowl from that set that was my Grandma's and while I love changing things, some things just need to be left in their original state. I worked for Walmart for 15 years. Believe me, the last thing you need to worry about is looking weird at Walmart. You find some great things at the thrift stores. I live in Mobile, AL, we don't have many thrift stores and the ones we have aren't that good.
