I love that the dashboard page no longer has labels. I am due with our first baby in June so I'm thinking about using it to document each month of her life! I feel the same way about the shading in the weekly spread! I went with the neutral last year because the 4 lines of shading seemed like a lot to cover. I think I'm going to go colorful this year because 2 lines of shading looks like about the same size as a regular strip of washi. I'm also excited that the dates are in the header and not taking up a ton of room on the top! I agree on not really needing the contacts page, I actually use it for username/passwords. For the snap in dashboard, you could use a "wet-erase" marker. I just heard about it from another planner babe and was like "where has this been all my life?!" You can write on the dashboard and can only take off what you wrote with a wet washcloth or wet wipe. It's amazing!

I’m totally on board with you regarding the tab being on the actual calendar and the need for a dot grid page next to the dashboard page. I would still totally change the hourly. Remove the times, make the lines a bit closer together, lighter in color, and keep things as minimal as possible!!

I love this! I didn’t think I would! I’m a neutral girl and the photos on the sneak peeks just didn’t do it justice. I use the first box pages, for writing out what kits I use each week so I can look back and see where I bought it from and the name of the kit. This planner is just beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I just realized the front is different between the new colorful and the new neutral! The months have cursive writing in the neutral and printed in the colorful. Interesting... I have been using an Erin Condren LifePlanner since I started nursing school and now I use one to manage two jobs! I love my planners, but I have one complaint. The calendar in the top right corner of the pages in the hourly planner start on Sunday and yet the week begins on Monday. That is they way it is in the 2020 planner also. I really wish they would fix that. I am still a loyal customer, but that one fix would make me so happy!!!

I appreciate the review. I really need more space to write so I'm finally gonna get brave and just uncoil and recoil after listening to you. I'll get the 18 month and remove the weekly pages for those last 6 months and I'll add in some note pages. I think this will help me alot. So glad EC 'fixed' some of the changes that caused me to go to PPP last couple of years (I'm using the huge 8.5x11 for extra space). I've missed the EC 'design' though so I'm looking forward to using it again with the changes made.

Thank you for this review! I wanted a good planner and you hear about EC a lot so i bought one then stumbled across this video. I was trying my own homemade version of Jordan Page's block schedule planner but my work hours fluctuate too much so the blocks like that dont fit well with my life. Thanks for the great review! I watched another review and on the to do dashboard and the days that you can use for meal planning, they suggested using sticky notes to plan your meals so you could move them around, instead of using the permanent markers. Just a thought! Great review video!

From what I can tell, teal is a darker blue/green. Almost an ocean type color. At least that’s what it reminds me of. Turquoise is a medium blue with hints of green, like mint green only in the blue shade. A little lighter and a little greener than sky blue. And that comes from way too much time over analyzing and trying to tell them apart. 😂 Also, do you know of any tutorials specifically where they changed out the ink for gel in the pen? I’ve been trying to get it open to do that and can’t get it to open. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed watching! ❤️
