For the last page i do the word of the month. I usually pick a virtue from the virtues project (not sure how popular that is in US, I’m Canadian) but it helps keep me and my family aware of those good virtues like helpfulness, respect, gratefulness etc

Just a thought for the birthday section that doesn't have lines. (yes might be a bit extra but it might help) what if you took a sticky note (probably one of the longer ones and might need to darken the lines) and line it up with the calendar page on the back (so you know it is straight). And then use that as a guide to write in that box. You can reuse the sticky note over and over and you look magic for being able to write straight! And since it's a sticky note, it won't move while you are setting up that page!

Idea for the 17 hexagons: can draw a line from one point/corner to the other (in other words: split each hex in half. Now, you have 34 and it can still be a weight loss tracker. Meet a goal, shade it in. Would make a fun kaleidoscope look if you're a creative type. Another idea, instead of halves, you could draw three lines, splitting it into 6 slices and now you have even more room to work with (you, or anyone reading this). You could track weight loss, fitness, food, books (if you write really small, I guess)... Music, money (spent, saved, or earned)... An idea for the 12 Hexagons... Since they're right across from the "contacts" page, I use them for the important numbers (i.e., baby's pediatrician, husband's hair stylist, husband's work number, etc) so I don't have to go digging. Another idea is other phone numbers that you may not necessarily want to have in your phone (idk, some people are like that) like... Your neighbor, your grocer (idk...) A third idea for the 12 Hexagons in the back is decorating with pictures of that size. If you're planning a big trip (maybe your annual trip, making that a page for keeping track of who's joining you, and if there's money they need to contribute, who already paid, what's already booked...etc.. I love those hexagons in the back. There is so much that can be done with them.

I use the 2020 year at a glance pages to track my periods. I use the dots to go over the days my period is for each month. I love the idea of planning out your kits on those pages! I think I may copy it when I get my planner and start planning out my kits. I use my monthly notes pages to write down monthly highlights. I'm excited for the new page before the monthly spread in the 2020 planners. I really love how you set up your planner. Thank you so much for sharing! :)

For the 12 box spread, I've decided to use a grid system. The 4 columns are 4 goals. I picked Health, Finance, Work, and Personal. The 3 rows are 4-month check-ins. So for each goal, I have what I want to accomplish by April, August, and December. I'm a calendar year girl, so I'm getting ready to set up stuff for January. I currently use a 2019 hardbound EC but I decided to get the 2019-2020 new coiled Life Planner, since I find the student dashboard to be super useful but would get more use out of it if I can actually keep it in my planner. In a lot of ways I really think it's safer to write passwords down than a digital password keeper. You probably always know where your planner is and are unlikely to lose it to theft so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I love how you're doing your monthly pages!! I am a July-June person, and mainly that's because July is when my first EC started a few years ago, and I'm always so excited to start the new one that I never changed to Jan-Dec. Also, I use the contacts page for contact info for doctors - eye, dentist, all my parents doctors (since I am usually involved) and my doctors, as well as numbers to make appointments for car maintenance (which I know doesn't apply to you), hair dresser, nail salon, stuff like that. I always found myself looking up the number for my dentist or whatever on google, and now it's all in one spot.

I have always been a January start girl....Until I transferred from one Credit Union to another Credit Union last September (I work for a local credit union in my town, but transferred to a larger branch) and had to grab a desk calendar for my office and it turned out to be a July 2018 - June 2019 and I fell in love with it. Starting my new planner in a few weeks!! Went old school and just purchased a Blue Sky one that reminds of the ones we were given in school. An idea for the contacts page-What about listing all of the monthly subscriptions you may currently have..Beauty, Planners, etc. just a way to keep a list of what you currently have. I am a July to June planner. I absolutely love the multi-hexagon page idea. I will get thinking what I could track there. The 12 hexagon page . . . I have put a Planner Kate small month sticker on each one . . . I begin my day with a devotional study . . . so at the end of each month I will simply put in one word that supports my faith study for the month (e.g. hope, light, courage). I know I'm way too late, but still want to share my idea for the hexagons for those reading the comments. You could use the hexagons as a positive approach to sticking to a healthy diet (cf grams of protein reached, stayed between a range of healthy calories, eating your portions of fruit and veg in a week, etc). I would highly discourage using it for weight lost for the exact reason you mention: weight fluctuates for different reasons. Eating healthy has many more benefits than losing weight on its own, and keeps you trying without getting discouraged.

I am moving into my new planner right now. I love the idea of using the hexagon coloring page as a reward page. I think I might fill in a hexagon for every three pounds lost, so -3, -6, -9. I use the contacts page to keep track of contacts that may change from year to year. Contacts like service providers, doctors, schools/teachers, hair stylist, etc.

Starting my first EC this July. Thank you so much for the idea of pre-planning the weekly sticker kit. I have been using a bullet journal for years and dabbled in a TN during that time where I have used sticker kits. I had a few on hand as it didn't take me long to realize that the TN route wasn't for me. I had been starting to use some of my older kits in my bullet journal this year, all of the while purchasing more kits. About a month ago I was looking at what I had while trying to decide how / when to use them that I was so overwhelmed I just put what I had aside and purchased more. Now I have a plan and will greatly limit my binge buying. :)

I'm so excited to move in to my new planner in July, but before I always get "scurry" as my kid says, about starting to write in it! I also got an 18 month planner, so I need to recoil and remove some, because it is soooo thick! And I'm nervous about that too! I use an 18M Happy Planner, and if I jump into a new one now, there is a six month chunk of the current one that I waste. So I took the first six months of the next planner, and redated it for (*gasp*) 2021! So the next planner I will purchase is March 2021. Yes, it’s a long time to commit to a planner, but I know what style fits me, and I don’t waver from that.

I start in July because I just get too excited for the new planners. And for the 12 hexagon page, I’m using it as a monthly mantra page, so like a word or short phrase for each month that I want to think on and work with. For July it’s going to be “I am worthy of change.” And I use the address page as my top books and movies of the year. I write the name and author (or for a movie, the name and director) and my rating. So it’s actually more of a memory page that I fill in at the end of the planner year.

Starting a new planner on Monday. Loved some of your ideas! I am totally going to do the Apple Watch tracker on the year at a glance, and the kit tracking boxes. Thinking the weight tracker hexagons is a great idea. If you lose the # in the hexagon it is totally okay if the next week you are up a bit, I am going to track my weight I think on my monthly view because I do not normally sticker it up and share it on IG... I love the hexagon page and ideas with the stickers. I think I will do a weight loss tracker too. I was concern about what if I loose the weight but then gain it back what will I do just like you said. But I’m thinking what if you cover it up once You loose the next 2-3 lbs (total of 6) so once you loose 3lbs. Don’t cover it. Then you loose the next 3lbs and you get to cover up the first one. Does that makes sense 😂 sorry if it’s all over the place. That way you know you won’t gain it back in a week and it will keep you motivated lol

You may have already figured something out, but I was thinking about how you used to plan in the hourly and then they changed the hours - TheCoffeeMonsterzCo sells thin time strips that fit between the spaces on a vertical so that you can convert the vertical into an hourly. I don't know if the hours are close to what you were going, but I figured I'd suggest it.
