Just bought my daughter one.. Students never have money and what I like is the build in WiFi in the car I can load data for her as a extra safety feature incase she runs out of airtime or data on her phone but will still be able to contact us..❤️

Can i barf now and later? Much better options out there which are better designed and priced. Kia picanto or suzuki swift , or even suzuki ignis better. Hideous price for such a dinky little thing

At least it doesn't have the instrument cluster mounted in the centre of the dash but other than that there's not much to like.

No offence or negativity, but when reviewing a car please share the information that we want to know about that manufacturer, like that manufacturer's DNA, viz, Toyota is known for reliability and quality. You mentioned Dihatsu something 🤷🏻‍♂️ how is the agya linked to Dihatsu? Warranty? Extended service plan & warranty? Parts it shares with Dihatsu or other Toyota? Availability of those parts? The interior review complaint was sort of about space complaints What about showing us if the steering & seats adjusted to what length ls.

Suzuki is amazing! Many budget awesome choices , from the s presso, to the ignis, the jimny and now the suzuki vitara brezza all under 300k with a 2021 spresso model top range auto priced at less than R150 000

Toyota lost the budget segment when the Tazz was discontinued. At least Vw polo vivo filled that gap, a good reliable student or family car. Toyota will never regain the budget car market again, unless it's pure bred.

Hii Julia, I’m a new driver (recently got my License last month ) so I’m actually planning on buying a used car but I dunno which one to get between Toyota agyo or Chevy spark LS or Nissan Micra, which one is best and mostly cheaper to maintain & spares are easy to find in all spares ?any recommendations please kindly assist, I really need something small and most affordable ,and be able to travel from JHB to Free State/Northern Cape stress free. Hi Karen. Also consider a secondhand Fiat 500. It's got 7 airbags, not a hijack risk, very comfortable on the highway and economical. I used one for business trips around Gauteng but also long distance and it was perfect. Always dependable as well even though mine worked very hard. My daughter is 17 so safety for me is very important. Also, a Toyota in Gauteng might be expensive to insure.

This car is introduced in Tunisia recently, the market is dominated by Picanto and Grand i10, Agya is sold with both 1l 3cyl engine and 1.2l 4cyl engine which is awesome!! the dealer added some options for competition like better seats with separate headrest , touch screen and rear sensors

We rented an automatic version this weekend (In Kaapstad nogal) and boy was it horrible. I honestly, honestly didn't think people made bad cars anymore but you know what, I was wrong. If I were a student and my parents bought me this I would think they must hate me. I'd forgive the lack of power, the engine sound and the looks for what it is. But the seats, man, do they honestly save enough money by making seats this uncomfortable? I couldn't spend more than two hours in them. Then there's the A pillar sounding like it detaches when you reach 110km/h. Hardly ever happens and granted it was windy.... Get a Fiat 500 in stead or if that is too expensive I'd definitely rather buy a Mahindra KUV100 (Yes really). But then, you could put a toyota badge on a potato and people would buy it. Come to think of it, I'd prefer the potato.

Drove this last week as a car hire (Hertz). Horrible. Cheap tinny feel to the doors when you close them, plastic everywhere (as the review says) and weird features (a start button!) that obviously cost money, but don't really add to the overall feel of the vehicle. What irritated me most was the boot - you have to remember always to pop the little lever next to your seat before you get out, or open the door and pop the lever when you get in. There is a little fiddly key that you can use, but what a faf - tiny little release lever on the key fob and I never used it. Nope. Suzuki much better value for a similar price.

I had this car as a rental in South Africa and it was the worst drive I have ever experienced. Felt very unsafe, the seats are super uncomfortable and the driving noise is immense. We actually returned it and asked for another car. I would spend my Money somewhere else! Especially if you consider that a proper car like a Swift offers you a lot more for the same Price.
