"Antony's speech" in Shakespeare's play,Julius Caesar,is a well-known monologue.Mark Antony is given the opportunity by Brutus and the other conspirators to give a funeral speech for Caesar with the condition that he doesn't accuse them of Caesar's death.Initially,Antony starts by defending Brutus and the assassins, saying that he has come to bury Caesar and not to praise him.However, through the use of persuasive language and genuine reminders, Antony eventually portrays Caesar in a highly positive manner, which angers the crowd towards the conspirators.
