Awesome volg! Both of you seem to be having a really good time. I went on a solo trip across the country last October. Shibuya and Shinjuku were such an overstimulation of the senses. We didn’t use JR pass in Tokyo. But if its on JR line or under JR, it should be included and many trains run on the same rate.
