Great footage, bad luck about 1392. At least it you got to see it when it pulled your train. It has a very nice sounding whistle. Cool you got to see inside 6060's shed, they didn't have it open when my son and I stopped there on July 29th.

The 1392 was up and running in it's scheduled slot on July 2nd.

Nice video! In Manitoba we have the Prairie Dog Central RY, it's pretty similar.

1392 was actually built in 1913. That’s the only typo in the description.

And 6060 is built in 1944

I wished 6060 will run on Canada day again I just haven’t rode the 6060 on Canada day before it’s sad that 6060 broke down and I don’t like it when 6060’s broken down

If 6060 is owned by the province of alberta then they are the ones who should fund the repairs

How gaudy is a locomotive supposed to be decorated, to show “patriotism” for US tourists? This is most definitely overboard!! I’ve seen AP 41 in better dress. Meaning: “as is”.

I rode that train once as a kid, nearly 15?years ago. Don’t remember much of it, except for that I thought the locomotive was cool (I had a fascination with steam engines), we got held up and there was a shootout, there was a buffet at some point, and it was a ton of fun
