I did all models in live, but made two mistakes in first round (2 from 3 3d-models), because take myself on runners place. if I got it wrong twice because of the nerves online, then what kind of pressure are the runners under?! In the second round, it became harder when Joost makes the model twice as fast on a simple model. Traditional CADs can compete with it only if the models are more complex/harder(as the second 3d-model). On simple circles and parallelograms, there is no chance even to approach his speed. But I really want to thank Toby's team for working through this championship. Creating even simple models is a huge job, not to mention the rest of the organization. My big respect!

I just did both the models for the second part with FreeCAD. It's quite tough to get right. But I got there. My hat off to RobertoG.

I did all the parts, but its 100% down to work flow, I dont use part design bench so for me it was pretty quick to get stuff done. Love freecad used it professionally for 5 years now

I did it in Solid Edge correctly first time and beat both by 4 minutes. By which I mean on the first model that counted, the one with the two slots one on each arm and the conical hole in the middle. Wish I had know about this tournament before today because apparently I would have done well, at least in the first round.

I heard about a dude from India that is making an AddOn for FreeCad that allows FreeCad to do direct modelling like Spaceclaim, i think the best way to test the add on is by letting Joost to do some models in it.
