You've chased several cells in July that I've watched and photographed from my house in Maricopa. They're always popping up between here and Tucson. It's nice to get to see what is "happening on the ground".

That's awesome, Maricopa has been close to a lot of storms this summer

Very cool! We had one in Tucson the day of my son's wedding (July 5) around Ina and Thornydale and it was epic, but I much prefer them in the middle of nowhere.

Oh wow! That's rough, but also the risk you take having a wedding in Tucson in July lol

You should have seen the radar yesterday when it happened. You could actually see when it instantly happened. That was really cool
@MikeOlbinski3 ай бұрын
I of course saw the radar, I was chasing it :)

Very awesome! Sounded like the shutter speed was set to around a second. Was that to keep the ISO as low as possible? Great work and Thanks!

Bro, you are my biggest time lapse inspiration. I’m so close to spending almost $4000 on just a camera. Because of you, Mike. You are dangerous to my bank account. I’m just kidding, but I am seriously thinking about getting an R5 just for this type of shit and getting the fuck out of the south with all these fucking trees. Sorry for the language, but you know it was needed.

Why wasn't this one severe warned
@Deansweatherwatch41673 ай бұрын
This storm never got strong enough, the only reason I know is because this was right up the road from my house, and I was watching this from my front porch, there was however a much bigger and more severe storm later that day
