podcasts I LOVE: Right Answers Mostly (this is a history podcast but its in like a gossip format between two friends), Ologies with Alie Ward (she has different "ologists" (aka professionals) come talk about the things they specialize in), and Binchtopia (two girlies talk about pop culture things, some history, and they go on some random tangents sometimes, but I love them). I listen to a ton of other podcasts but I feel these ones specifically fill that "learning itch" i've felt post grad :)

Loved this. I love plan with me’s! I did one on notion with just myself-but didn’t film it. Maybe I should. I was thinking I’d do a half year or mid year review of annual goals - what’s working and what’s not, what I’ve accomplished and tweek the goals for rest of year. Have a good week.

I cried A LOT in June too. I was just extremely sad and beating myself up about things and then something happened and that made my month even worse last week and yeah it was rough. I'm praying July is a better month for me and you both.

I really like the goal setting part of your video. Although it sometimes seems like you put too much pressure on yourself to accomplish a lot. 😕 like with the stretching, I think the whole thing dragged you down more than it brought any good. Make sure the goals are set with the right motivation and make sure they are attainable. You’re doing great! 💕

I’m glad I’m working nights mostly with my new job and only three nights a week. I try to do all my errands and shopping before noon lol. Otherwise I’m inside relaxing in the AC 😂

I had a suggestion to include month on month trends of ur budget haha maybe thats the marketing data nerd in me but in the current format, when you say you need to reel your expenses in I dont rly see it cos I dont see how you spent relatively to the month prior 😅 so maybe like “my spending this month is x% higher than last month but lower when i last moved in etc. takeout this month is x% higher than last month etc” 😂

Several years back, Shannon Doherty, 90210, wrote a book called “badA**” It hits on some good topics, obviously not everything in every book is for everyone. Also, if you are looking to get back into journaling, there was a book several years ago that I found very helpful, don’t know if it is still around: “list yourself “.

Giiiiirl I gotchu w podcast recs: -The Popcast with Knox and Jamie (they educate on things that entertain but do not matter) -Side note by asap science is a great science one!! -Honeydew me is about sex, and they bring on experts each episode and like I’ve learned SO MUCH from them -NPR Politics podcast is a short digestible way to kinda stay in the know and learn abt politics- they do a weekly roundup on Fridays…those are the eps I listen to most consistently

I would highly recommend “we’re all insane” podcast!!!!! I listen to it every Monday on my hour drive to work and back. It’s about other people telling their story and spreading awareness about issues. I love it soo much and it has helped my mental health a ton!! Please give it a try!!

@@TheMorganGibson July is the start of the 2nd half of the year and well also Quarter 3(in the corporate world every 3 months of a year is a divided up to look at different things such as finances). There is also a fiscal year but that can start and end for in different months dependent on who you work for. Example fiscal year for the university of Michigan goes July 1 2024- June 30th 2025.
