DROPS - Oh boy, time for another run of "fat ass Calm Mind sweeper gets banned from NU in less than a week". The difference being that Suicune was funny, whereas Cresselia is boring. Stupid Stored Power. - Breloom is awesome. Poor Infernape catching another L since now it's outclassed as a Mach Puncher. - Spyder's got a competition. I got absolutely smoked by a Custap Berry Araquanid earlier. Shit's a threat. - Cinccino! We got a nice new hazard remover/physical attacker. Pretty hostile tier for it, but Cinccino should be fun. -Deoxys-D... Might do something? I can't say for sure. There's a lot of other hazards setters, and Deo-D sucks at the whole Stored Power shenanigans. RISES - As far as the rises go, Rhyperior rising all the way up to UU makes me happy to see for it. I'm proud of it. I never used it while it was down in NU, so I have no real opinion on it. - Krookodile leaving is brutal. We just lost our best Dark-type. Incin stocks are on the rise. - Magnezone leaving is even more brutal. We just lot our best Electric-type. Like yeah, we got Thorns and Pom Pom, but neither of those lads have an absolute nuke of a Volt Switch. Guess Rotom-Mow or Heat will start seeing usage again? - Noivern was a non-presence in the tier. I'm shocked it rose up. I was expecting it to drop. - Reuniclus leaving is appreciated. It's very versatile, even though it's exploitable on each of its sets. Can you tell I hate fighting bulky Psychic-types? - Slowbro leaving is brutal too. It had its Calm Mind set, sure, but it was good as a nice bulky pivot with Regen and Future Sight. I guess Glowbro is gonna rise back up. - I got fucked up by a Zen Headbutt Thundurus recently, so thank fuck it's gone. Though now I'm likely to get folded by Oricorio Pom Pom rising. My first goal is to ladder up on a new alt and prove Cresselia as being broken. Get this mon the fuck out of NU.

@@1peidu I mean, Breloom has coverage for all of those. Sure, it can't fit every move it wants on a single set, but it can still 2HKO Vileplume with Aerial Ace or Dragalge with Bulldoze after Rocks (or no Rocks if Banded). Talonflame absolutely melts to Rock Tomb, so folks need to play it safe in that regard. Either way, just because there's clear counterplay to something doesn't mean its bad. This is Breloom, a mon with Base 130 Attack, Technician, STAB priority and one of the strongest multihit moves in Pokemon's history. It's gonna do good.

Oh boy Muk Alola stocks already rising high becaise of 3 new psychic types in the tier as well as breloom giving it prime targets. Krook and Rhyperior leaving also helps immensely because those 2 threatened it hard and came in decently easily

Rhyperior is still good in UU, the meta just adapted since people arent getting away with zap/torn t pivot spam as much as they used to with thundy t rising and everything just running tera electric

No magic coat is a big nerf for araq from last gen as a lead. I think Custap lead sets probably have some merit where you throw off attacks and then get webs off before you die but I can't see webs improving much from having it,, but it is an option that opens up more flexibility in the structures and isn't complete food in the Cinccino matchup

Ive been playing a lot of NU recently, and I’m reallt interested to see how this all plays out. A lot of staples rose and some serious threats dropped down. Also personally I think cres will end up being banned.

@@deadlyviper_ I am aware I'm saying they didn't need to ban spore and sleep powder since they are more important to what makes the Pokemon that use them good and have more counterplay. If letting Darkrai and iron valiant sleep and then set up is too toxic just ban dark void and hypnosis then. No reason to nuke amoongus and breloom.
