Poor Olive ran the gamut from haunted gaze at the mention of bare torsos, to full unconsciousness, to fierce protector. But hey, I'm not judging. I always shoo my dog out of the room when I'm getting dressed because there are things no organism should have to see. 🫣🐕 Sounds like some fun reads, particularly the "My Sister the Serial Killer" thing. I dig the Star Trek/Space Invaders shirt too.

Happy Sunday. Discovered your channel when you had Pat on the live stream. Enjoyed it. I see "Ada" and "Watchmen" in the background. Good books. Thinking about what occurred yesterday in Pennsylvania, and seeing Watchmen in your collection, maybe How Democracies Die might fit the bill.

Great vacation reads, Dave! Riley Sager is on my radar too. I was looking at THE ONLY ONE LEFT in the bookstore the other day. It seems like a sort of gothic horror tale. I have How Democracies Die but haven't read it yet. This the second time I've heard Olive bark. The last time, I think, was at her sister. Hope you've had a good weekend!

We almost had a scandalous Book Blather video?! And we did get an Olive in attack mode. "Home Before Dark" is a much better book than "Survive the Night". Sager's characters are never rocket scientists but they're too stupid to breathe in "Survive the Night". Now, that you've read the Riley Sager book you have to pick up Rachel Harrison's "The Return" with its nearly identical cover. It's also a lot more interesting.

😂😂🤣First time I've heard Olive bark!😂🐶 Never seen you move so fast Dave😂 I have still not jumped on the Riley Sager train. I haven't read a really good thriller since maybe No Exit. Or Intensity by Koontz. 🙅‍♀️ I have become very picky about thrillers. They're all so cookie cutter.

@@BookBlather yes, i don't mind warm and pleasen't, but hate it once it get over about 25c, which for u i think is about 77 fahrenheit. In london, summer it tends to stick around 23c, which is 73.4F.
