I have this ongoing crush on a guy for about five years now. He's straight so i knew from the beginning it was a big no. However, about halfway through last year I told him (Or I sent someone else to cause i wasnt strong enough to do it myself, something i regret) but i still have never managed to get over him. So telling the person doesnt necessarily mean you'll get over it. We've spoken to each other about this as well, we're cool, but to be honest it didnt change anything. If anything it just made me more comfortable with it.
