They are also many other controller pros who cant pull off something that koy does regularly. That alone is enough to inspire people to grind their roller aim. If u wanna talk about mnk aim, i suggest u go else where and check out the new guy demon1 over at valorant, or monesy over at cs etc etc. mnk is pretty much dead here on apex.

@@ghostycake2011It removes 40% of the error margin when aiming lol. It’s set to .4, a value of 1 is a 100% accuracy aimbot. Having any kind of system that uses AI to help prevent you from whiffing shots by slowing your aim on them is HUGE. That’s the entire skill cap of aiming is being able to make the fine changes you need to make CONSTANTLY to hit shots. On mnk or roller w no aim assist the slightest movement that’s not perfect will always result in at least 2/3 missed shots. If you make this mistake twice, you’ve whiffed about 1/3 to 1/4 9 of your mag on an SMG. That’s HUGE.

@@Szycho yeah but in rocket league there is no such thing as aim assist, both inputs are in their raw form and controller is the better and easier input, in apex without aim assist MnK would be the better input by far but because of AA controller is better. Its like if rocket league would give Mnk players a bigger hitbox so even tho controller is the better input MnK will be used by the majority of pros. thats why apex is so flawed, in my opinion if you want to compete you have to adapt. Apex in its current state is like giving a sprinter in marathon shoes a 2 seccond headstart over the sprinters in sprinting shoes because he is handicaping himself. so everyone runs in less optimal shoes and it ruins the fun because everyone is running way less fast then they could.

Aim assist makes the game so boring in my opinion. Long rage feels stupid, 99% of fights end up being an smg ape battle. If AA got nerfed the entire meta would change. Different hero’s would be played more, gun fights at long/mid range would be more important and close range would be way more engaging.

I wish someday I would see apex with a more raw aim pro scenario, cause mnk can’t compete with roller right now, there are just too many factors that affects your aim on mnk no matter how good u are, that controller aim assist just removes it.

Pros have switched off M&K even though they have played that way their entire life and are better on controller 500 hours in. To be the top of a small less difficult pile is not as impressive as being top of a far more difficult competition - which is what apex used to be. That's not devaluing anything, it's assessing the level of skill a controller player physically can attain. What are the reflexes he needed to get there. which is probably less then half that of an MnK player.
