I just tried this method on my lil sis hair and omg😢😰😭... She has gorgeous, beautiful veeeery thick, virgin, curly natural hair. She's only 10. The method is so easy to pick up, but can somebody please tell me how I can manage to wash/condition, DETANGLE and do this style in under 5 hours next time PLEEASE!!!!! Oh and btw it took me 3 hours to DETANGLE because my mom doesn't want to learn how to take care of natural hair. So i took it upon myself to take care of it and teach my lil sister aswell THANK YOU!
@tasha96506 жыл бұрын
As far as detangling goes... I reccomend that you put some type of oil on the hair first before washing & conditioning. It helps a ton with the detangling process because your hair isnt stripped of its natural oils as much... by your shampoo. Try finger detangling first & then use a very big tooth comb. When it comes to detangling larger combs make that process wayyyyy easier.
@tasha96506 жыл бұрын
Oh and also start from the ends of the hair & make your way up to the roots. It detangle best and help reduce you pulling/breaking off the hair.
@janiecesmith90706 жыл бұрын
@@tasha9650 Yesss Thank you for the advice!!!!😍
@tashaunebatts25766 жыл бұрын
Shampoo, condition the hair, then add a leave in with some oil and put the hair in plaits/braids or twist to keep it detangled as it drys.. i would wash her hair the day before to allow the hair to air dry over night.

@@tashaunebatts2576 Thank you So much its about that time to tend to her hair again. I also been making sure her scalp is moisturized with the braids in aswell. This video was great for parting and extremely informative on other points as well. I’m sure new/experienced braiders really benefit from this. One thing I wanted to see is how you parted the top half. I couldnt really see and I parted mine well but I realized I came out with less braids than you so I did something wrong 😂. Oh well I still like it. But thanks for this very detailed video. I never like anyone’s KZbin videos but I love yours! Will be recommending you to the ppl that come to my hair store!

Beautiful finish...I would've done a few more sectioned parts but overall this would've been the same outcome. Also, I see your blessed doing it overhanded so that also helped with this style too in a real good way...thanks for your tutorial.

You did an amazing job 💗 and as an African who does hair this was a very detailed video and for anyone who actually wants to learn they can learn more from watching this video. Keep up the amazing work girlie this is beautiful and just simply amazing, my the biggest part for me was the fact that the rubber band wasn’t anywhere to be seen unlike others your still able to tell where the rubber band is. Bravo sana dada

Thank u so much for this tutorial!! I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE ur vids & was longing for a tutorial with clients with textured/transitioning hair. I sometimes have trouble getting the hair to lay & STAY flat for these type styles. The tip about the foaming mousse was extremely helpful too and verrryyyyyy true. I even have to be careful with sealing the ends with the hot water bcuz if the steam gets too close to the top, I've noticed the hair trying to revert back and become a little puffy 😞You are so awesome and please keep these tutorials coming. Your hands are gifted my sister !!!! One question... Can u share tips on the best way to keep this same type hair (natural/textured/transitioning) straight during Feed-in cornrows? I do tuck the hair while braiding but that sometimes doesn't seem to be enough.

Thank you! Ive def tried to find more 4C or transitioning models for you guys so Im so glad that I could help. Also your comment about the steam is very true also. Thanks for confirming what I experienced.

This is my first time seeing ur videos and I just loved it u took ur time to explain things I’m a mother of 4 girls 2 are twins so it is important to me to do there hair myself and the styles they would like to have can be very pricey so I take it upon myself to learn as much as I can and u are a very very good teacher thank u 🙏🏾 I will now go back to see ur videos on how to lock in the braid with the hot Water thank u agin and u have found a new subscriber in me 🥰

,, wow your braids are super neat it looks so pretty and that's funny that you mention about the moose with different hair textures because I noticed when I put mousse on my braids my hair frizz up when I'm trying to use the Moose to make it lay down and I like the fact that you don't let your clients leave out with dry ass scalp 😂

Same here. I was pissed after i got some braids and put mouse on it 😯. Made my hair frizz right up.
