Going to try and head up there soon. If you go back, let me know, I'll help carry your gear Papa Ken.

@KenshiroRyuFishingDojo Жыл бұрын
its considered ocean salt water region, you just need the Marine fishing registry you can get for free from any legit bait shop in NYC and Long Island.

Nice!! Never tried to fish here before. Sorry if you mentioned this in the video, but what kind of hooks are those?
@KenshiroRyuFishingDojo3 жыл бұрын
There are Size 1 Circle Hooks. They are great, once they hook its hard to get out so you dont need to hold onto the rod the whole time. They will swallow bigger hooks next 3 sizes too but the Mustard brand Classic Circle hooks are strong even if tiny hooks.

Great video, how do you cook the porgies?
@KenshiroRyuFishingDojo3 жыл бұрын
I let my ex chef father cook my catchez. He wok fried it with scallions and tofu with seasoning. Alot of people fried it like a steak both sides with salt n peppers. Porgies meat is pretty semi sweet on its own already. KZbin should have alot of cooking styles. I am not a great cook so my focus will be hunting and fishing as i learn stuff.

@@KenshiroRyuFishingDojo sounds good, you should also try using lighter tackle when targeting these smaller fish, more fun.
@KenshiroRyuFishingDojo3 жыл бұрын
@@CALEB-vr8lh usually im using my light tackle to jigg for fluke and bluefish snappers which i caught a couple in the video too. I let the 10 ft rods do the lazy work on them Porgies :D
