2 days ago I feared that if I touched this game I'll probably never play Civ6 again. Welp 16hours playtime later I think I'm right :)

The undo button is hands down amazing In civ, I constantly have too reload my game due too mistakes. In old world, a nice simple feature saves me loads of time

Lovely to see you keep us with this really intricate game, if you shall continue in these guides I hope for one that catches the families interconnections: i.e. when you appoint a governor would it be better to use one of the family members of that city family? Are you required to balance families power etc?

This guide will come in very handy, thanks Jumbo! The undo option might end up being my favourite feature :D

Very nice. The game is blowing up on Steam, which probably surprises some people. hehe I expect people will be playing OW for years.

They could easily improve this game with a few updates that open up the game to more customization and technology on the tree.. it’s a very cool game just very limited once use to the interface .. it has much going for it.

I like the undo order command. it's a difficulty setting entirely at players control.

Can characters(including the king ) go old, die and cant revive in old world? If yes i will try it
@JumboPixel2 жыл бұрын
Yes as I say in the video characters are mortal and each turn counts as one year by default.
@z000ey2 жыл бұрын
yup, also you might have i.e. 2 successors, you "breed" (with your education etc decisions) your first in line heir into quality politics while your 2nd in line unfortunately is a buffoon, and wham bam right before your character dies the 1st in line dies from some circumstance... and you're left with the buffoon that lives for 30 or more years (30 turns...)

Not only age, but their likeness ages. A small touch, but one of many in this game.

The only thing keeping me away from Old World is the fact that you cant decide where to put cities, and they’re “premade” on the map. Hate that. If they just let us found our own cities instead of having no agency in where to put them, I’d call this my favorite 4x ever.
@donlively43342 жыл бұрын
Don't worry, that's a common feeling until you play the game. Then, it goes away quickly. They did it for balance. It works okay. Probably where you should put the city, anyway.

@@donlively4334 I fully intend to give it a try, but I can’t deny that I’m skeptical about it
