no pocket knife, when i went to school we took our guns so we could go hunting after class

It was the same with my dad. I left mine behind the seat of my truck and kept my mouth shut about it. That was the late 80s early 90s.

Back in the 50s we had our 22s stacked in the corner during rabbit season. We just made sure the teacher got a dressed rabbit or two. Today, the farmers have removed all of the trees and fence rows so rabbits are scarce.@@danw6014

Nice video very informative looks like a winner. If you had a pickup you had a rear window gun rack. Keys left in the truck and the windows were down. It truly is amazing how things have changed. I lived through it yet I don’t know what was the cause of the change. God bless and thanks for the video as always

good choice i have two jump packs 600 and a 850 they have a small battery inside them and so does yours. that is why they are heavy but you will like it. i charge mine after two jumps .and unplug from the wall and every two months charge it. keep in mind that every three or four years you may need to open the pack and replace the battery inside. ???????. LOVE Mine .

Ross i forgot in the last statement a full charged battery is 14.4 volts and i have charged mine at 12.9 is full charge on jump packs . i have used them on cold days even to help start the good batterys. you can even use it for a battery replacement for a temp. fix for a short drive to get 1000 yard to the tool truck. you will like it.

Finally, you listened to your viewers. And you put steak on your NAPA store owner's table the night you bought it. Now you can get to the stuff in the back of your building and jump-start it. If you have a real lazy starter you can put 24v into it. Great for service calls as you do not have to try to get your $2 special truck close enough to use jumper cables. You need to run voltage drop tests on your hard starters and other circuits. You can find bad switches, bad wires, and bad charging circuits.
@Ham682298 ай бұрын
Contrary to belief, NAPA tools are really reliable and solid. Ross, what some don't know or believe, some batteries will actually bring their "health" or charge back to normal after sitting for a few mins. At work, run battery operated lift trucks. We use then hard for about 3 hrs straight, take a break for about 25mins, come back and, they've regained part of their charge. Gauge will show 60% when we park, come back, it will show 80%. This is just how batteries should work, if they're healthy. Understand, you do get what you pay for too. This is worth the cost. Great video as always, cheers :) Do a review again after 6months ;)

Jump packs are handy! I’m on my 3rd one over the years and have replaced the sealed lead acid battery a couple times. They can be a lifesaver…. With all the electronics in newer vehicles it seems like you’re rolling the dice every time you use them to jump a dead battery. Somehow the welders at work popped the airbags jump starting one time. Leave it to the welders to screw something up beyond repair!!!😂

Nice review and testing of the product. One final test would be to travel to North Carolina and see if it will start my 2255. If it does that, I will be totally sold on it.

Ross try to jump start your Apple Pencil for a few seconds. That should then be able to inform the charger that its voltage is low and start to charge it. I have watched other videos on how to do it with portable batteries that will not take a charge. Hope you can get it to go since you like it so much. Looks like sadness is disappearing fast. I bought the Cat jump box 2 years ago because I park my cars in really hot weather and if you think cold is hard on batteries , even the best ones here you might get 3-5 years out of them.👍🇺🇸✌🏻😎

The nice thing about the bigger jump packs like that is when the time comes when the internal battery dies you can take it apart and replace it.

For all the engines you have, cheap insurance to aid starting contrary pieces. May be a good addition when you're out on a service call to make things go.

I’ve had several cheep little booster packs with varying amounts of success but that one looks like a really winner! The worst ones have a external charger which I lose right away.

I've cranked allot longer then 6 seconds with a jump pack😂😂 and we changed them with another vehicle because when you carry them in a truck, you can't keep them plugged in all the time.

I 100% agree with your buy local logic. I may pay a little more but when I leave the store I have it in my hand and I know what I have, plus the ability to return should the need arise. I also agree with you on the smaller jump packs with the smaller cables. To start a large displacement engine it takes not only voltage, but also current, or amperage and those small cables and puny batteries don't have the capacity to carry the large amperage necessary. Nice video.

That may be a good option for me because I have a 4020 24 volt and my electric start 730 diesel that's also 24 volt. For those you want to hook to the battery cables at the starter or positive on one battery and the negative on the other battery. Do not hook it up to the chassis.

Your steel wheel 60's battery is about to go too low. Charge it fully soon! You csn jump start it, but you'll have wasted the money on that nica NAPA battery unless you manually charge it or fix the generator or replace with an alternator.

Wouldn't it be nice if they had a bit longer cords and if they were highly flexible in extreme cold weather, without so much plastic on the connectors, humm? Why not after paying over $400,its not profitable for them to make it too good and made to last,I bet them people who built it was a corp business who have to pay their stockholders somehow ,right?
