Your will to make progress and get stuff done is always an inspiration, Kevin. Thanks for sharing as usual. I’ve been using older Noco slow chargers for years, mostly OK. I had one with a failed “full charge” green LED, so I thought I had a battery that wouldn’t charge fully once so I bought a new battery before I figured out the green LED as shot :> Maybe it’s time for another garage for your machines! Most people don’t understand that the pleasure of USING these machines is balanced by the considerable cost and effort of maintaining them. Re the fire starters, I watched your video and decided I’d give it a try. I don’t have all the materials yet. I hear you about the ground not being frozen. My 1st few driveway plows of the season on my stone driveway look in the Spring like a deliberate attempt to move my driveway into my lawn. Last days of snow are also bad.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement-really appreciate it! You're absolutely right about the balance between the fun of using these machines and the effort (and cost!) of keeping them running smoothly. The NOCO Boost X has been a game-changer, but I’ve had my share of equipment quirks over the years, like your LED issue. Glad you figured it out eventually-sometimes it’s the small things that trip us up! Adding another garage has definitely crossed my mind, especially with all the machines I’ve been putting to work. And yes, the ground not being frozen yet really makes winter prep tricky. I hear you about plowing over stone driveways-it’s always a battle to keep the stones out of the lawn come spring. Good luck with the fire starters! Let me know how they work out once you gather the materials. It’s always rewarding to hear when someone finds these projects helpful. Take care, and thanks for sharing your experiences!
