Bought one of these. Earlier this year it got down to -29. Ram 3500 w/ Diesel Engine with 8 year old batteries would not start. Tractor would not start. Honda 7000 Generator would not even turn over. Used the GBX 155 on truck, fired right up. Used on tractor, fired right up. Used on generator, fired right up. this is a great jump start device. I will carry it on my boat this summer instead of lugging around a battery charger with high amp charge to start engine in case start battery goes dead.

I had a issue earlier this year it got down into single digits and the noco was in protection mode because it was to cold outside. Lithium batteries do not like the cold weather unfortunately. Glad yours is working out for you. I recommend getting a fast charger. Noco wants 70 for there's but you can get a laptop fast charger usb-c for 30 bucks at Walmart that's what I got and it charges it in an hour

The NoCo GBX 155 will start a 15 Liter diesel engine. Just watched it here on KZbin. Helluva a jumper box. I just bought one! Thank you for the video. 😊

Thanks for demonstrating that NOCO. I purchased the same unit earlier this year mainly to start residential and commercial generators but I wanted the ability to start my 6.6L DuraMax. I have not thankfully needed to start my truck but I see it should do it just fine.

My bad it's the versajump3. I want another jump pack to have in the vehicle at all times and I've heard good things about them. 3000amp

Pretty impressive for that little guy. I just have a hard time getting over the whole 60 second thing. Does the "override" just leave it on until you shut it off?
@123donmaster Жыл бұрын
No 60 second shut off when override

@@123donmaster That's unfortunate, kinda kills it for me cause I use my JNC to power things around the shop. Still if you're strictly jumping trucks a lot, it seems like a no brainer to get one of those.
@123donmaster Жыл бұрын
It seems to work ok. 1 minute seems decent before shutting off power. If that happens u just cycle the on off button

@@123donmaster Oh no doubt, it works great for jumping cars. I'm talking about like running little 12v water/transfer pumps around the farm, things like that.

@@Callelle6251I just use a marine battery for that. Runs my pump on my 30 gallon sprayer all day and then i just put it on a maintenance charger when done. Use it to spray soap water mix for all the box elder bugs we get on the home in october.

I think is super duty 2 batteries get another 2 red cables and 2 black cables. Ford F-350. 6.0L Diesel. Get more noco GBX155 battery pack.

One thing to note is on most of the GBX's when you are in override, it will not have rundown protection on the lithium battery (I found out the hard way). If you run it down past a certain point than a regular USBC will no longer charge the pack. However, NOCO suggested (and it worked) that their Cigarette Lighter accessory cord to USB will bring it out of that state, I thought I was going to have to warranty mine but it did work and bring the charge up to normal.

Can you run the car on GBX155 without a battery for longer than 60 seconds, and what is the longest time you could do it with the GBX155 (if the alternator is not working you could drive the car to the shop if it is close). . . . .
