Jump! Super Stars vs Jump! Ultimate Stars Special Attacks comparison

The thing about Super Stars vs Ultimate Stars I've noticed while the latter game streamlined a lot of attacks, though a number of them sorta got nerfed quite a bit. An example would be any 5B jab that's not Yuusuke's infamous 5B jab. Most of them are laggier in animation. A lot of rapid-fire mash input Y moves in Ult Stars like Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Gatling and Zoro's Ushibari now have a tumble-over hit effect that causes a standard getup state with getup invul, preventing them from comboing properly into other moves unless you knock the victim over a cliff. Hit effects like with Slifer Osiris Aether Dragon's Thunder Force beam in Ult Stars also got toned down to not sending someone far away with that bit of initial lift (as well as having most beam attacks last less longer).

ultimate stars is more complete and, depending of the mangá franchise we have the best forms for the characters (according with game release time) like Vegetto, Devil Yusuke, Sagitarius Seiya, Ichigo Mugetsu form, Naruto four tails, Yoh fused with Amidamaru, etc...

Very well said, I still sometimes wish we had a version of this game with the younger naruto characters included like an all stars port with everything.

Thanks and I’ll have to check on that. I recently just got my 2ds back and the last time I tried to record my screen it wouldn’t work and my current laptop is not able to run a 3ds emulator that well. But I am still trying to get the recording and everything working, I will have to look at it again to try to make it work.

Well when you get time, could you do Piccolo vs every other dragon ball z character(piccolo by himself vs Goku/Gohan Vegeta/Gotenks Kid buu/Frieza) on the Planet Namek stage of Jump Ultimate Stars, it can be a 60 second point battle then battle against vegito in a one on one death match. Technically that’s two requests lol but hopefully it’s not asking for to much, I just really wanna see my boy piccolo in action. Doesn’t really matter which koma you use tbh, you always create some 🔥 decks so.

You can’t actually “turn into a super saiyan” but you can play with their super saiyan forms as separate characters, however some characters “goku specifically “ special moves transforms them automatically for that specific move (like SSJ3 kamehameha)

@@animefan_forlife8325 Sorry for the late response , you just have to keep progressing through the game. Goku is already available and the more komas(characters) you unlock from j adventure mode the more characters you can get, so overall just progressing through the game. I’m going to be doing a walkthrough of this game again real soon.

I agree, I also like super stars luffy a little more. They should’ve made an all stars port of this game that would include both pre and post time skips of the characters, keep super stars aggressiveness with a more balanced ultimate stars style. Even though I love ultimate stars I really like super stars too bruh 😂
