Kochikame started in about '76 had 1980 or so chapters in 200 volumes and ended last September on its 40th anniversary... Random trivia I learned about a month ago.

Kochikame ended on the day of it's 40th anniversary in 2016 I think, it was kind of popular in Portugal, I really liked it.

The cool things about Tao are that he is very menacing but also the way that he is shown to be menacing is kinda funny, like how he kills Blue with his tongue it makes him a threat but it's also kinda silly, or when he kicks a pillar into the air and somehow rides it which is ridiculous but he plays it straight so it gets to somehow be kinda cool, making him a pretty definitive DB villain. Taking something silly and playing it straight can make a villain more entertaining (see also JoJo's Bizarre Adventure which pretty much builds most of its humour off of this)

yes every Shounen Jump manga that weak had a panel where a character had Ryotsu's M-shaped unibrow. imo, the best one was in Toriko, because all of Toriko's hair burst off from being reborn... except for the unibrow. It was glorious.

Cobra is actually a pretty trippy, groovy late 70's show about a space pirate who's kind of like James Bond meets Jean Paul Belmondo. He goes around the galaxy with his curvy android sidekick lady, and his Psycho Buster predates Megaman's by nearly a decade! I believe the original anime and OVAs are on Crunchyroll, and I'd highly recommend them. Nachi Nqzawa (RIP) who plays Cobra, is the man!

Santana returns and resets the universe, but in doing so, he gives the villains from the previous arcs the chance to avert their own fates. However, it is not the Joestar family that they have to face against, but rather each other and their own overbearing ambitions getting in the way of their plots. So you have Dio trying to outsmart Kars trying to outmanouver Diavolo trying to not get screwed over by the priest and the whole mess threatening to expose Kira's new chance at a quiet life while all of them at the same time fuck with time so royally that the appointed Jojo of the arc is looking to put a stop to their antics because they are literally on the verge of tearing the universe a new orifice with all the mindfuckery that occurs because of it all.

If J Stars vs had gone the Naruto Storm game route, gameplay wise, it would have been a great game. But the long recovery time whenever someone is knocked them made it impossible to do any combos. The normal combos themselves always felt too stiff. The only thing that they obviously put effort to was the special moves, but it wasn't really enough.

Interestingly enough Kenshin shifts what type of character he is. There's Battousai Kenshin who is more strength. There's more neutral character Kenshin who realizes that he can save his country by aiding them with his sword skills and later the one who decides killing isn't worth it. Then there's the joke Kenshin who is know for using "Oro?". It's really why Kenshin is such a great character. He's a balanced human. Buso Renkin was also written by the same author of Rurouni Kenshin. Dr. Slump was also written by Akira Toriyama aka the creator of Dragon Ball.

She was. Her name is Arale Norimaki, and she's the main character. The weird little village is called Penguin Village, and its where the manga takes place.
