Love the colours on this one, while it sounds like it was a struggle of sorts, the muted blues work excellently. Additionally the slight tone shift between both spiders does good to trade-off the with the transition for a little more cute to a little more creepy. I particularly like the frill-like tufts both have on their heads, and the smaller upright forelegs. The way the eyes are done almost makes Lycaracnid look like a scientist from a cartoon with a a bushy - fang - moustache. These are the kinds of spider I'd absolutely have as a pet if I could.

Oh mygosh his little fangs do look like a moustache! Add it to the list of moustache pokemon! and thanks so much! After watching through my process and seeing a version with both the brown and blue/gray tones, I really liked that one a lot but it still just didn't feel right. The colors worked well together but I couldn't find the proper mix. And the tone shift is exactly what I was going for! Jumpnida would be more saturated and approachable, like those jumping spiders with bright colors on their butts, and Lycarachnid would be muted and be able to blend into the shadows more. I love them, I want to gush about them forever hehe Thank you so much! Your comments are always a delight 🥰

This might be my favorite Minichimon yet 🤓 ironic since I'm not a fan of bugs/spiders but this is really well done! Dark is also one of my favorite types, along with fire and ghost 🖤

Ohmygosh I didnt see your comment for week! Also thank you so much, they are some of my favorites too! Dark is such an underrated type honestly. And if pokemon could be 3 types I'd be cool to make a fire/ghost/dark type mon! Maybe I'll do that as a fun mini series. 3 type fakemon lol
