🌞 Hello there! This is Rodger's wife, my name is Lanette. I have taken over his computer for a few minutes after we just watched your glacial trek. I thought it was pretty cool seeing the glacier through your eyes, I have lived in North Dakota most of my life other than 10 years in Las Vegas. I have seen snow, ice, hail, sleet and freezing rain every year for months on end it seems but I have never been to a glacier. Rodger is a little more experienced and he has seen a few glaciers on the west coast. I have to say that I have loved watching all your travels in the past 3 years, I am always excited when Rodger says Chris and Carol have a new video out! I know that I will never be able to travel like the two of you have done, but I am happy living vicariously through you. Being an introvert and taking our trip to Merida, Mexico was enough anxiety, worry, and sooo far out of my comfort zone, but after a few days of being there I did relax somewhat. So I have to give both of you KUDOS for all the traveling you have done and the awesome places and people you have met along the way. I hope you continue living your dream of traveling and letting me tag along with you guys to see the world. Now I will give Rodger back his computer. Take care of each other and keep enjoying life, Lanette. Peace and blessings to you both. Very exciting to see you both enjoy the glaciers. My ventures were mountain glaciers. Like I said when I was young, I did not travel the world, but I did things others wish they could of done. Backpacking and rock climbing is not an easy deal. You need to be very well trained and skills to do what I have. I just wish I had the chance to travel the globe. My health has crushed that dream. I live it through your eyes. 👀 Best of everything for you both🏆🙏💙

Hello guys, beautiful trip to Patagonia, it is a unique place, I am from Argentina I went in 2016, doing Ushuaia, Calafate and El Chalten, for the locals it is very expensive because they are places where excursions, accommodation and food are far above of the average of someone here, but making an effort you can at least once, I hope you enjoy your trip, Greetings.
@leticiabatista86952 жыл бұрын
Just like Brazil. Most of destinations He showed in his vlogs are expensive for The most of population. It's sad that both countries most beautiful landscapes are not acessible for many of the locals.

I love the blue color at some of the points on the glacier and that water must taste amazing... Words fail me to try to describe that 1st look at the glacier and the trek you took. Otherwordly.Can't wait to see more of Patagonia! Chris,u got sunburned on the back of ur neck.Time for sunscreen.That ice reflects the sun more than the whitest sandy beach. Would love to see you go to more snowy places! The area you drove to and from the glaciers reminded me of the Palm Springs,CA area,which also includes Joshua Tree National Park,where you can climb and camp.It has a desert floor surrounded by mountains,which do get snowy peaks in the winter.There is a tram in Palm Springs that u can take up the mountainside in the winter ( which is woody with pine trees) to play in the snow, go sledding, snowshoeing,cross country skiing, etc.40 degrees F difference in temp.I lived in the area for 20+ years. It's also where Coachella Fest takes place. (On polo fields in Indio,CA about 45 minute drive east from Palm Springs).All this is about 2.5 to 3 hrs east from LA.Summers are brutally hot and long but winter,spring divine!
