I used to go camping with my Dad down to el Requeson back in the 90's. Brings back great memories. At low tide you can walk to the island over the sandbar. That whole area of Conception Bay is beautiful.

Hi Chris and Carol, good camera review. Follower since Palawan lock-down days. We used to drive South in the 1980's from the L.A beach area the length of Baja thru Tijuana, Ensenada, and stop for the night in Guerrero Negro. South of that is Scammons Lagoon, one of the many protected places where Grey whales stop to give birth. Mulege was a fairly sleepy town then, as was Loreto which has grown since then. Great videos, especially the drone shots, keep them coming, I look for them regularly.

those beaches remind me of sonora, mexico, they use to look like that isolated, peaceful, we would go as a family every year cause our relative live there, up until i was 14 , we would be the only ones with california plates in the little town my grandparents were, granfather and uncle would go to these locations and fish, abolone, sea snails and my mom would cook all the fixings and we would eat, we would find sea shells on the sea shore, bring back bags of shells, cant do that anymore, thanks for making me remember all this, and for your videos!! oh, yeah love the music!!!!!!!!!!!

Another beautiful video guys. Glad you guys are feeling better and back to enjoying Mexico. That was beautiful Airbnb too bad the people weren’t there. We've been using the go2 for a couple months now for our videos and find it super convenient. It does have a learning curve as all camera’s do and yeah it’s mic needs a lot or work. I really enjoy being able to reframe the shot in the app and honestly the battery life and storage limit hasn’t been that big of an issue after adjusting some of the setting.

Hey there, probably a few people wonder about that lol. So Chris doesn’t have a driving license. He learnt to drive in Texas but the licence was tied to his American working visa so when his visa expired so did the drivers license. Since we travel we don’t have much time to get a new one for him

Bahía Concepción (Conception Bay) is a bay within a bay on the Sea of Cortez about halfway down the peninsula. Many travelers plan a grand tour of Baja but get kind of stuck here-and not in a bad way! La Paz, Cabo, and Todos Santos can wait for I agree! This rugged paradise is the real “old” Baja suitable for exploration by bicycle, motorcycle, 4×4, RV, car, and boat.

09:46 .. Super impressed that its microphone picked up that music in the background even tho it seems to be far away.. Thanks for another great video from Baja California guys 👌🏼😎 I’ve noticed that the new camera distorts quite a bit on the edges when it’s hand held and close up but it seems to work better (with less distortion) when extended on the selfie stick. Also the image quality/sharpness isn’t as good as that of the GoPros.
@JumpingPlaces3 жыл бұрын
Yeah on the laptop I could see the edges distorted more in linear mode. It actually records an 180 degree circular video and then in the editor you choose which mode you want, there is another mode called narrow which looks pretty much the same as the gopros linear mode without the slight edge distortion. We thought the image of the GoPro looked sharper and more detailed also as you mentioned although there are sharpness settings in instas editor so could be that too. Still got to play around with it more for the optimal settings 😁 still highly impressed what you can get out of the little guy though for 300 dollars too 🤯
@MattCSLnut3 жыл бұрын
@@JumpingPlaces ... early days I suppose and plenty to experiment with 👍🏼 and I totally agree with you... quite impressive for a little guy for $300 👍🏼 FYI... we are watching your videos on a 40” Smart TV hence me noticing the distortions and quality drop so easily.

Yeah I think that’s just the shooting mode, if I choose narrow mode I think it looks more normal but a closer up shot. The GoPro also starts to look a bit like a fish bowl if you film in wide angle modes. Still need to play around with this one more, thanks for the feedback 😁👍
