I ran whishcash, tenta and abomasnow today. Been non stop losing and went all positive today with it. People didnt seem to respect the mudboy. And sludge wave on tenta really caught people off gaurd. Especially on dewgong. I ran all shadows. I got a rank 2 shadow jumpluff i need to remove frustration off. Cant wait for the next rocket event

battle that started at 3:30..I don’t understand what your opponent was doing. First of all, even if they still gave up switch in the jumpluff/azu matchup, they still should’ve taken it into the 1-0 shield, and I don’t understand why they came in with the meganium after when ferrothorn is a far better matchup and could easily farm up energy without having to care about charge moves from the jumpluff

jumpluff safe swap in spring cup is insane , my team is tenta on the lead (scald and blizzard *if u just see how many flying and grass type i boomed with it xD* ) , jumpluff and meganium ! 29-6 until now with this team

Got a 5 and 0 running sh granbull, empoleon, poliwrath and 3 of those games i played double grass 😂 the algo hates me but somehow still pulled off a dub. Last night at work i beat a triple grass team while running poli, emp, and sh feraligatr. I hate this game 😂

I built a roserade for this cup I’ve never used it before, but I’m definitely having a fun time one shooting every fish I see almost. That alone will make it hard for me to not use it from now on lol. Payback time for that disgusting annoying thing that’s everywhere!

idk why people are hating on spring cup. Guess the 10+ months of farming the top metas only pays off when they are versing players who dont have the right top metas or IVs. Actually kinda makes me laugh. Great + Ultra are much more boring. First week of open great and ultra i played the idenitcal team and moveset (i play on 4 accounts) over 70% of my matches.... atleast each team is different in spring cup and hard counters arent a heavy dice roll only countering a single team. I smell salty.

@@kvn1936decent example is how zyonic showcased mirror shot ferrothorn jacks up an abamasnow... but thats only if they dont know what they are doing. Or how a poison / weatherball roserade can really neutralize this team if used corectly, but really i think roselia is more bulky running poison. You could go on how dextero only has like 3/15 of its top pokemon predicted correctly. This cup is 10000% skill, its about using the right fakes and the right catches at the correct time. Alot of things the meta players are horrible at because they are just so used to their pokemon dominating and getting a boner from doing so. They can never compete in anything that changes ANY rule against their 1 or 2 teams they have. This also levels the playing field so even newer players can successfully compete. [4th account is 3 weeks old and pushing 1800elo on that one is a prime example. open great league it can barely stabilize 1600; thus meaning there is actually more competition aka more challenge] but go off king.

@@kvn1936orrr how running sludge wave tenty slays because its rarely shielded due to unconventional pick, or how lurantis with superpower can crush ferro / mawvile and although its standard in open GBL its not so much in spring. Its 1000% about building your team, reading the opponent correctly, and finding what unconventional tactics will work for you. Example: Pelipper is easy to count moves and shield to block the hurricane. Crap players just throw it, decent ones fake the weatherball. That is absolutely not a "coin flip". Every time you fake out the hurricane youre positioned to hit or take both shields which are still a win. The only excepetion is when you have less shields, the opponent has grass charging faster than weatherball, or electric. I guess 10-20% is considered a coin flip to you. Open? Dont have one of the 20 meta pokemon and youre just not going to win, you dont even get to flip the coin.

@@kvn1936I thought about why you said this some more as to be a bit more objective... You likely feel this way cause most of your matches when you lose; You say to yourself awe man the order is why i lost, if i chose a different order I would have 100% won, or dang if i ran the team i just had instead of changing I would have decimated them. Both are indicative of lack of skill, swapping too early, using shields at improper times, not having the correct moveset, or being extremely predicatble. I have times in which I feel the same, but I know thats just my ego and can idenfity the mistakes I made. 4/5 matches ive lost I should have won but made errors in playing. Yes, on occasion there is someone doing what you likely do, and run extreme hard counters that slaughter 1/5 teams, may win another 1/5, but completely and utterly lose the other 3/5. Yes its a coinflip in that sense, people who are mad like you, and decide to run obectively bad teams to just crush 1/5 can happen... but thats still less than 20% so its at minimum rolling a dice (1/6 but its more like 1/10).
