Thank you, I have very limited editing practice but I try and make each video a bit better than the last in hopes to slowly improve my skills. If you do get a chance go check it out. There is something out there for all skill levels and riding styles.

You guys were shredding man! I still haven't been there. I'm in buckeye. My LBS told me about this place. I got to get off my butt and get out there👌😎👍

Haha thank you, we definitely had a lot of fun filming this video and messing around. You are not alone in traveling to bike. I have yet to ride White Tanks or Estrella which are both near you. Those are on my list to visit before the end of 2020.

@@devincrighton4376 you should check out Fins. Stands for Fantasy Island Northern Singletrack. It's by the estrella mountain. Its like a playground for mountain bikes. Lots of videos on KZbin about it. Kinda small though.

Gonna come down and ride this with my sons sometime in 2021. We are up in Preskitt, have you ridden up here yet? I have lots of POV videos showing our trails both in the forest and the Dells. Ride on! -Nick 😃👍

Let me know when you are in the area I would love to ride with you and show you around. Yes I have ridden a few times in Prescott. I have ridden Wolverton Aspen loop, Easter Island Yabba Dabba loop, Goldwater Lakes to Ranch up and over, Missing Link Happpy Ending loop, Ranch to Sundog up and over. I really enjoy all the trails out there. My favorite was probably Easter Island because I love slow Tech climbing challenges.

@@devincrighton4376 right on! My favorite trails are the slow tech stuff in the Dells too. We moved to the north end of town and I ride there more than half the time now. Will you send me an email to RideAlongside at gmail so I can connect with you when we head down there in the late winter/spring?

Great Vid... fun to watch. Question about the younger shredder’s technique on the drops. I have noticed he bunny hops off which I have seen and heard is a no-no because if you time it wrong at all- Boom. Does he do this to get more height off them? Or is it a comfort thing? Not judging- dude is sending it better than I can.
@devincrighton43764 жыл бұрын
You are correct it is not recommended to bunny hop off a drop for most situations. It is best to drop with good speed and shift your weight toward the back of the bike then extend your legs a bit to help absorb the landing. Also his techniques isn't the proper way to bunny hop. He pre loads his suspension and pulls up on the pedals upon rebound, which is never recommended. He is most likely doing this because of learning to drop while on clipless pedals which allow you to hold the bike up with your feet and makes it harder to learn proper technique. To avoid developing this habit I recommend learning bike skills such as drops, wheelies, manuals, and bunny hops on platform pedals. Once you are proficient at these skills then switch over to clipless pedals if desired. At some point he may unclip mid air and this would most likely end is a pretty rough crash.
