Sacred clowns are jesters of the dark arts. They have seen and joke and prod at the religiosity of our society. They are meant to humble us and remind us via jest and jokes that we all have evil thoughts. But just because we carry those thoughts.. we dont act on them. They are reminders of how evil the human mind can be, and how you are not alone in your fight to restrict those thoughts. These are the trolls of the modern society. And more..

Sacred clowns exist in all cultures, it's just that Native tribes seem to be the only cultures that still honor and recognize them. Nelson Mandela was one. Ha! There have always been women sacred clowns.
