The green over the brass looked so good! I'm quite amazed on how well they still look over white and other bases, most that I tried so far (not many, granted) it's either black or close to black or bust.

These look awesome. Only downside about your videos and approach to 50K subs is that now when you do these reviews the paints sell out right away! I hope Bella is able to keep up with demand and refresh supply. BTW the Chroma post of the name likely had nothing to do with "chrome", rather chroma bring the Greek word for color indicates that these are the color sub-line for their metallics

My unbuilt car kits are quite excited by this. Wonder if spraying over black primer as opposed to black plastic would yield any different results vs having to prime, then gloss black, then color over that. That blue over black... so nice.

In my experience, I get better results with gloss black or primer + gloss black. They are shinier and more saturated, but not any crazy improvements for most paints. I try to always prime just so I can benefit from the durability of having a solid base coat. I build mech’s so I need the durability when posing them for display.

@@danzo5521 Yeah, looks like it dulls the effect a bit going over a flat primer like gray, so I'd assume it would do the same with flat black primer. I always prime these days, if for nothing else to check for imperfections prior to painting. Skipping additional layers is always nice to try and preserve detail, but luckily most car bodies in 1/24 doesn't typically have many details so fine there's a major risk of gumming them up.

These are awesome looking. I've been trying to pull off a good candied chrome for a while. I did a Chevelle in candy electric blue over gravity chrome and it wasn't quite want I was looking for. These look perfect and super easy. My big question is though what happens if you hit them with 2k clear?

I have a question. I use hobby black primer then go Gloss Black (Ueno Black) but its not glossy at all. Also i try the normal Aqueous Black (Mr hobby also) and its... glossy. Am I do something wrong? The color that suppose to be glossy just go flat and reverse...

Love these colors. Cant wait on part 3 I have a question Barbatos. What purpose are the crowns for on a airbrush? I airbrush without because the crown is holding paint and eventually the buildup paint blows away. Not funny I would guess its for needle protection but they have different shapes 🤷‍♂️

mostly needle protection but I have seen some advertise that the crowns help direct air to make the spray pattern better/more consistent. The protection is why I use them
