I've been working as an automation engineer in Belgium, Holland, the UK, and Canada, and never would I have thought that Pakistan could be on the same level (except for the military industry). But, subhanAllah, it's mind-blowing that these systems are also being implemented in manufacturing in Pakistan, even though the costs and maintenance of robots, PLCs, and SCADA systems are extremely high. I hope, inshaAllah, that Pakistan will be the one manufacturing microchips like TSMC.

My take on local brands is that a lot of them have their branding stuck in the 90s. As someone who actively looks for local brands, Cola Next wasn't even on my radar as I simply brushed it off as a lower quality product. As an example, I got attracted towards Dipitt, a local condiment brand, primarily because of their modern looking branding and became a very loyal customer.
