it's solid enough and the kit provides you with some glue to tighten some joints. It seems to be for metal joints.

the design is great but what ruins this kit is the floppy innerframe especially the upper body

have you tried the included joint glue? It seems that they were aware of it hence the inclusion, I haven't tried it because the frame is already covered here. I was lazy to disassemble XD
