Driving into the Port of Los Angeles, I captured the reality our truckers face daily. An enormous line of trucks, at least a mile long, stacked two wide, waiting to enter the gates to drop off or pick up containers. These truckers go through so much to deliver the goods we use every day, yet they often receive no respect from the port or the streets. This is a shout-out to all the hardworking truckers out there. Thank you for what you do. You deserve much more respect.

They are there to either drop off a load or pick one up. Everything is scheduled.

Yes hurry up and wait. I have sat in ITS and waited as long as six hours before. Bring a book, a pillow and a pee jug because there is no getting out of line to go to the bathroom.

That’s ridiculous we need to figure out a solution for this. I believe these employers should be having a hoot shift to make sure this cargo is getting out quickly, even if they’re just separating things for the orders coming in to be ahead if all the truckers decided not to deliver for just two days three days. Imagine what would happen we need to lay demands down these rich companies treat us all like we’re just animals to be let around
