June 2019 - Audi TT - Air Conditioner Recharge - DIY

This 5 min clip shows how to recharge the air-conditioning for a 2000 Audi TT (although the process should be the same for most vehicles). The normal cost is $150-$200, so by purchasing the refrigerant yourself you will save $100-$150.

Where did you purchase your Boost Gauge set up. I Had installed the same one on a previous TT I had. I now have another and haven't been able to find the same set up ??

sorry for late response. In the early days of the TT we had a car club and would meet annually. Actually won part as part of door prize. Install was $100

Works like a champ. Depending on how much you drive........I would recommend recharging once per year as part of your regular maintenance. Hope this helps.

I had no absolutely no clue the TT came with a sunroof

It was custom and despite the dealer claiming it would void my warranty, it was the best and most inexpensive mod I did.
