I petitioned my wife for her adjustment of status and the all process took 78 days without an interview, we didn’t request work permit or advance parole either, God bless you all and good luck

Hello, I did my biometrics May 8th and I have not heard back since then. I’ve been checking my case status everyday to see if there’s any updates. My main concern is that my daca will expire Aug 16th and I’m a little worried that I won’t receive a new work permit by then. I have not renewed my daca hoping that I will get everything before that time. Do you have any advice on that? 😟

What can i do ,i forget to send check for i-765 & i-131 fees with my i-485 ? Because after 1st april i need pay separately for i-765 & i-131 with form i-485 and i totally forget , And you recived my package june 13th ” And i have question so they accept my i-485 because i write one check for i-485 ?” And still not get reciept notice for i-485 it’s after 3 week?

I did biometrics got the request to do a medical but still waiting to get work permit, hopefully the medical won’t cost much and we can pay for that and get green card asap, does request for evidence like a medical delay getting the work permit ?

You are wrong about there being no filing fee for the work authorization permit and the travel authorization permit. Anyone smart enough isnt going to risk leaving the states during the green card application process to risk losing it anyway, the travel authorization is pointless and a waste of money.

Hello sir,my i751 was approved May 1st 2024 and few days later it says case was transferred to a new office and the new office has jurisdiction,The noticed of approval and notice of transfer was sent to me through mails,I don’t really know what is going on.

Don't worry about the transfer if the case was approved. If this was through marriage and you became a conditional resident more than 2 years and 9 months ago then you can apply for naturalization.

my USC spouse submitted my marriage based green card application on the 15th of september 2023, i got my biometrics on the 20th of october 2023, i got my work permit on 5th of november. i had my interview called for the 6th of march and no decison was made on the interview (i was told to be patient ) and got the paper to wait 120 days. two weeks ago, uscis officer came to my place and left with the satisfactory visit. i checked my online status which says that , my parole document is produced and that's it. my i-130 and i-1480 is still being reviewd by USCIS. as of today, its 107th day of 120th. what should i do? and what are my options after 120 days? my field office is in spokane, WAshington state.

probably very soon, but can take up to 90 days currently.

@@user-pd8wf8ii4j It is possible to expedite the I-130 if you have a very strong reason, but I have never tried to expedite for this reason. I think that you should try to expedite.

That's not good. It usually (but not always) means that your case is going to scheduled for a second interviewed referred to as a "stokes interview." The stokes interview is very hostile and both spouses are separated. There is also a chance that USCIS can visit your home before the second interview. My son is a US citizen living with me in Nigeria. Can he file for me from here? Does he have to move? Can my assets be used to prove ability to sustain me financially?

Your son can petition for you, but after the petition is approved he will need to show a US domicile to satisfy the affidavit of support requirements. No, you can't use your assets to meet the financial requirements, but you can use a joint sponsor. Please note that your son needs to be 21+ years old to petition for you.
