They hang out 2 1/2 feet on each end. 2 1/2 + 2 1/2 = 5 feet. Im a Cont/Chassis mechanic in the docks.

That I can’t answer for you I’m Longshoreman and to do this job you have to become Longshoreman check with your local ports, but it’s nothing you’ll be able to just get in and start operating a crane at least not today
