Beautiful and perfect. June Anderson has such gorgeous voice I don't know if she herself realized how beautiful her voice really is. Adding to this she's a real musician, every note is in place, in style, you hear every word she's saying, no unnecessary gimmicks and special effects and no bullshit, she's the real thing. Absolutely love her art, one of the greats even if not as famous as some of the others.

In the concert recording from 1989, she has a fuller tone, more acute (and accurate) staccati, and faster runs. Still, it’s evident from this recording what a massive potential her young voice held. To have this much control and musicality at age 19!
