@klavierspieler72 June Anderson did a fantastic performance at a lerner and Lowe special of a song called "Take Care of this House" from 1600 Penn Ave. If anyone has that piece, please do post. And yes, I definitely agree, June Anderson is an incredible artist with a voice that even Callas would probably be in awe of. Her voice is rich, powerful and extremely clean. I do not particularly think she is too underrated however, she could have definitely been applauded further.

I have been trying to find this recording since 1991 when the program aired on PBS. I absolutely love the arrangement and the soloists - especially June Anderson and Bea Arthur.

How remarkable to see June and Bea, of whom I am both a big fan ... You'd never expect them to have ever met. Lyric parts were never June's cup of tea. It's for her coloratura roles that she is best noted for. However, those are beautiful extrapolations at the end.
