I absolutely love how excited you get talking about your flowers. I am the same way. I have a son who is a government contractor and he came home last weekend. I was so excited for him to see my little flower beds 😊. I used to have a house with 13 acres and tons of flower beds. I am just happy to have what little I have and my son was snapping pictures the whole time 😂. You put so much of yourself in your plants and it shows sweetie. God bless 😊

Bummer about the caterpillars. I read the hairs and droppings can cause an allergic reaction in some people. Some people spray BT on the leaves and when the caterpillars eat them they die. They sure can do a lot of damage. Your gardens are beautiful!

Loved the tour! I always learn so much and I love when I see the the same plants I have represented in your garden. I have Josephine Clematis and it's one of my favorites. We are also both in the northeast so it helps me compare. I'm sorry about your Lavender. So grateful mine were ok. We didn't have that ice that you did this past winter. What variety is that first Bee Balm you showed? Mine has powdery mildew already. It had it last year at the end of the season. I treated with Neem Oil and I will treat again but if it keeps coming back its history and I will try to find another variety with better mildew resistance. One other thing that helps me about your videos is how matter of fact you are about the insect issues. You have a great attitude. It helps me because I tend to get worked up about things. We have Browntail Moth here in Maine and they cause a horrible rash. I've lucked out so far this year and haven't seen any. Thanks for the tour!

All of my Coreopsis is laying down also. I'm about to throw them out! My Lavender is always a pain in the arse too. Sometimes I can keep them for a couple years but they seem to hate MO, zone 6b a lot! Botrytis fungus is likely what's on your Peony. It will blight your buds. "What makes a flower smell?" A flower's scent is created within the petals where essential oils are stored. When there is warm weather, the oils combine and evaporate, producing a unique scent for every flower to attract pollinators. Everything is looking so lush and beautiful. Hope those stinking caterpillar don't get to the plants.
@GuidingGreenThumbs

I'm watching your June your and your lavender was dying..Lavender is a Mediterranean plant. Hot and dry. You have it planted at the bottom of a sloped bed. It's getting all the rain water run off. I struggled with too. The only place I've had success is at the top of a blocked stone walled raised bed. Hope that helps.. just move it..it will come back.

So I found this perhaps this is what it is? My peonies did this last year. I think there is something you can treat it with. Hopefully. Botrytis blight is the most common disease of garden peonies and is prevalent in damp, rainy seasons. Young shoots rot at ground level when they are 5 to 8 inches tall. Stems often have a water-soaked appearance. Leafy shoots wilt suddenly and topple.

"keep talking with your hot air" ..."so our house is gonna smell like a funeral home all summer"... he asks her if she will put herself on an invasive species list... well I guess she ended up with this dude it's her choice... something is really wrong with this relationship right before 42:12 he says again that he is tired of HER buying the plants, so I'm guessing she doesn't work and make her own money and spends his money on things he doesn't like?
