I love your videos! The first thing that came to mind when you were showing the weeping willow was how wonderful it would be to have a comfortable garden bench nestled in that garden area. What a peaceful place to sit and watch the gentle movement of the willow swaying in the breeze. I live in the south and the gracefulness of a willow is one of my favorites, I played under the branches of a willow for hours on end when I was a child. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.

Morning Glories are the bane of my existence. My mother has seed from plants her grandfather (my great-grandfather) sowed when he first bought the family home. I loved the sentiment, but hated the results. They self seed EVERYWHERE! Yank them out before they bloom, and just stay on top of it for the next few years. That's the only tip I have. Sorry, Laura, I feel your pain!

❤️❤️❤️the monthly tours!!! It is great for us who have watched you plant things to see their progress. Also "nice" to know you have weeds also 😂. You are such an inspiration and given such valuable information. Who knew if you cut back the perennials they would blossom again. Thank you and Aaron (Dexter too) for all the videos. I look forward to watching each one!

Hi Laura, Regarding the morning glory, one control tip I have works great and you wont have to cut down the other plants around it to eradicate it. It also works for grass or other weeds growing in plants you want to keep. What I do is use a old small paint brush and I apply some liquid vegetation killer on the morning glory or other weeds. I use a piece of cardboard to but between a portion of the morning glory and any nearby plants to protect those plants. You only need access to a small portion of the morning glory in order to attack it as the vegetation killer is absorbed into the weed leaves and stems and will travel down to the roots. It will not impact the soil or surrounding plants as long as you do not get the vegetation killer on your desired plants you want to keep. Its also a good idea to not use on a windy day to prevent any accidental touching of protected plants. Basically its a bit time consuming for large areas but resist using a spray bottle as it will most likely get on the plants you like if you do. The paint brush method helps isolate treatment.

Ok, now I need those self watering pots. And the repetition of the pots along the driveway is so stunning. Keeping annuals watered is the main reason I don't do a lot of annuals. But now I am going to do 5 of those pots along the front of our house, can't beat annuals for 5-6 months of constant color. Once I learned how to keep Petunias looking good up until first frost, they became my favorite annual. You are very knowledable and your gardens are beautiful. You are just a delight to watch.

I don't know how many times I've watched your garden tour videos, I just loooove seeing all the flowerbeds and the changes you make. Those boxwoods look sooooo much better than the old hedge. Looking forward to seeing them and the northpools go in the ground. Oh, and the flowerbed on the edge of the front and side of your house. So much to look forward to. Btw, I just have to say how impressed I am with how thorough you guys are with the water trenching and burying the electrical lines, removals of trees and everything. I would love to see two garden tours/month, but it has to be too time consuming? Its just that so much happens so fast during the summers 😇

I think that Laura is a wonderful example of how to stand out and above the rest. In so many videos with other young women it seems they try to use their sexuality to gain popularity among KZbin viewers. Laura is a beautiful & talented young woman who is a great role model for young girls. She shows them that they can be smart, successful and beautiful without using some of the less than appropriate tactics. A great example of class!

Lovely garden, I just love this temperate perennial style of garden. We moved from a temperate zone to a sub tropical zone and have an acreage garden but I just cannot get the lovely perennials that I love growing strongly. I have great soil but I think that it is the summer rain and constant humidity that does them in. So I love seeing your garden it is joyous and glorious.

Stunning!! Loving how everything it turning formal and perfect just like you!! At first I was sad about the Priviets but then I see how marvelous the path is and you have room now; great call! I bought similar daisies but they never quite shined for me and I think it's because I've had a lot of shade gardens and those lovely flowers need tons of sun and then shade in the afternoon! Ohh I so adore the edible planter box- looks gorgeous and yummy- time for a salad... you can also stick in your onions scraps and herbs (but the bottom of an onion roots down and grow your onions in the box too) and they grow. You make the rose garden look so easy!! I've always wanted a rose garden and now I think I need to start one! And Mr. Dexter is looking as handsome as ever!! I'm excited to more - you've got us all addicted to your channel Laura.

Laura, I love watching your garden tours and videos and seeing how everything is flourishing and morphing into your space/style. I like it when you mention a particular plant and how it performs, it helps me to visualize how I could use it in my garden, could you also pop the name on the screen as I'm not always familiar with it and not sure of the name or spelling. Also I noticed your garden hoses in a couple of places on posts, that is a great idea, I've just started to see garden hose post in the stores and wondered about purchasing a couple. This seems like a much better idea than dragging long hoses all around the garden. Like many others I love your channel and can't wait for your next video, when I'm waiting for your video I'll try to watch other garden channels but none compare to yours. Love your garden. I tell all my green thumb friends about your channel. I attended a class once where the teacher addressed morning glory. He said put the top end of the vines in a container of round up. It will drink the poison down to the root, and being in a container your other plants won't get hurt. If you try it, keep Dexter away from it. I bet you could cut a hole in a lid so it's closed off. If you hear of any other ideas, please share.
