Thank y’all so much for doing this video! I think your parent’s garden center is amazing. Such a beautiful selection of everything you could imagine! I wish we had one like this in our area, but there is nothing even close to being as wonderful as this. You can see how much thought and creativity goes into the displays. Laura, your “ooohh! I think we need this!” made me laugh, because if I was there, I would be exactly the same! What a great way to spend a Saturday morning, so thanks again for this. It is truly lovely! 💚🌿🌸

Propagate that leaf! A friend of mine and I used to take our kids to Worlds of Fun in the summer in Kansas City, while our kids rode the rides, her and i would go around and collect plant droppings from the ground and take them home and propagate them! They had the most beautiful and humongous plants hanging all over, and we would sip on our favorite coffee there! Such memories!!

Those Peonies are SPECTACULAR !!! They are one of 3 flowers I want in my garden. The other 2 are Dahlia's and Ranunculus. I love how you have them throughout your vegetable garden and I thought " what a clever idea" 👍🙌☀🌈🎍 You've talked quite a bit about Hydrangeas and what they like and don't etc. I have some in my front yard along the walkway to the front door and on either side of my garage door . My house faces East so I have great morning sun that they absolutely love. I don't do anything except to water them and they get cut way back after the season. Interesting fact, I had no idea I was growing 5 different varieties . I knew I had 4 different colors but on 2 of them the flowering was strange to me. I have 2 that are enormous but don't flower like the others . The flowers look like they haven't bloomed all the way yet . My husband kept saying that they were male plants that's why they don't fully bloom like my others. HE WAS WRONG !!!!! I now know that they are an actual variety of hydrangeas. I have had people come to my door asking about my Hydrangea's and how do I get them to grow that big. I have no idea!! I think I put miracle grow fertelizer on them once maybe twice but that was 15 years ago. They just love the spot they are in 💦🌺🌷🌼 I tried dahlia's last year for the first time i bought them potted and then repotted them in containers in my back yard. FULL HOT WEST COAST CALIFORNIA HEAT AND THEY ALL DIED !! My backyard is a killer because it's west facing full hot sun all day!!! I'm going to try growing some in my front yard and see how they do.

@berniecelee50624 жыл бұрын
Jake Jones : I asked but these big box stores can’t do the ordering . It’s done centrally at head office. I have to find smaller nurseries where the manager is the owner and where I can speak to the owner personally. Cause I love PW. They cost more than the other plants , but like $1 more so still affordable. With such short planting season, you want to work with the best variety and quality. There aren’t many small nurseries where I live. I have to drive farther to other towns to get smaller nurseries. Those plants Laura showcased were nice !!!

What an amazing place. I would be in serious trouble if your Parents garden center was close to us. Loved the tour❤️❤️❤️
