Janey, I wanted to mention how much I enjoy the daily quotes that you post in your video description! I look forward to reading it every day. I've even begun to write them down in my notes. Thank you for taking the time to find relevant quotes since I am too lazy to look for them but I thoroughly enjoy reading them! Happy gardening!

Janey, Im glad we make you happy but the thing is that you make us all happier to be able to watch your great videos. Thank you. We are really experiencing the smoke in SE Wisconsin from the Canadian wild fires. Ive noticed some brown rust like spots on a couple of my established hydrangeas. I looked it up and it said it was a fungus and to remove the affected leaves and spray with neem oil. I did that. But Im also wondering if the hydrangeas could also be affected from the smoke that all of Wisconsin has been experiencing this month from the fires. Its been on the news that people should wear masks outside. Ive never seen it this severe. Thank you so much

Hi Janey, Jasen (rose farm) said if you are loaded with Japanese Beetles, just cut all the roses and buds off. I know that sounds terrible. He explained they love the roses themself and the are only around for a month, after they surface from underground. By the time they go away your roses should return with a flush of buds. 🙏🌹

In our master gardener program in Texas working in public gardens count toward our yearly required volunteer hours. There is no requirement for us to educate. Some do some don’t. So there is something for everyone.

The nematodes treatment is for decreasing the number of grubs found in your soil. This results in fewer emerging from the grub stage but does nothing to get rid of an infestation on your plants.

Ugh to the spider mites. Tell me why we’ve been about to float away from so much rain all spring and summer so far! And I’ve been seeing spider mites! I thought no freaking way…. HOW? WHY?? I obviously brought them home because they were/only on new annuals. But 🤨 why. Ugh. I had them bad last summer when it was ungodly hot and dry so the second I saw those little truckers I said NOPE. Plucked up and in the trash you go, double bagged. Not riskin it this time. But I will say what finally got rid of them last year was just Dawn and water, fyi!!! I bought and tried so many things and that worked the best. Fingers crossed I caught it soon enough this year.

Janey, I love your videos and all the information you share . I wanted to correct I thing you mentioned, Master Gardeners do get volunteer hours for working in a demonstration garden which will be used to educate the public but may not necessarily have community present during a work day.

We live in the Charlotte, NC area and we use, BioAdvanced All-In-One Rose and Flower Care, Granules, 4 lb for Japanese beetles and it works really well. Feed the roses once a month with a cap full throughout the summer growing months.

Really like this feature video. About the Japanese beetles, milky spore works too. My thing is you should spread that over your entire yard, 2 acres here, it's not likely I'll do that, just part close to the garden. You guys with a smaller yard may like to look into that, I seen Yulia at y garden show how she handles the beetles.

I really want the evergreen clematis that you have. I am in zone 6. I get different info about that clematis. Some say zone 7, some say zone 6. I wonder if I should try it? I think it is quite expensive so not sure if I want to spend the money. What are your thoughts? Do you think it would winter over?
