Oh god that audiobook sounds terrible I totally understand where you're coming from. There are so many books in this wrap up that I need to pick up soon! But I actually have a recommendation for you this month. I read The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor and I freaking loved it. I haven't come across a book that I just couldn't put down in such a long time but this was that book for me. It's not new, but it's a fantasy adventure YA that's a spin on Alice in Wonderland. I've already ordered the next two books in the trilogy from BookOutlet and I'm dying to continue the series!

I loooved Red Queen so much. Eventhough I haven't read the third book, the second one was great so I'm very happy that you decided not to give it up just because it had typical elements of a distopian novel!

I loved A Man Called Ove! I too listened to it on audio and really enjoyed how the narrator portrayed Ove's grumpiness lol. I'm currently reading Backman's newest, Beartown, which is also very good so far. It's a book about town that idolizes hockey (kinda like here in Montreal lol) and yet it's SO much more than that. Highly recommend!

I go into The Themis Files by audio book from the first book, and the audio book is actually fine for the first one! Except I was confused by the name of the 'friend doesnt have name' lol. And the second one, OMG yeah Eva drove me crazy everytime she speaks. Fredrik Backman now became my favorite author of all time! His books are all good. I haven't read A Man called Ove but I've read another two of his books, both amazing! Great reading month for you XD

I also read A man called Ove and it was an alright read. I believe I gave it a 3/5. A lot of the reason was like you said it did remind me of Grand Torino(a little UP too) and the usual 'grumpy elderly person is just misunderstood and kind' trope. Even though the story progression was predictable, I did enjoy Ove as a character. But I really disliked the ....I don't remember her name but the pregnant neighbor lady? As well as the husband. I couldn't find them believable ....and the wife I found annoying....yeah.They also came out with a movie, I'm planning on watch soon.

OotP has always been my favorite Potter. I guess part from the reason why Harry is so "whiny" is because he's suffering from PTSD and there's so much pressure on him (from his fellow students, teachers, the media etc) and my poor little boy can't even relax for one second. :)

BookswithEmilyFox Yeah, but he felt like Ron and Hermione were distancing themselves from him, and Dumbledore was such an ass in this book... I had to pause waking gods audiobook and search for others feeling like me. Eva’s voice makes me throw up a little. And Vincent’s, awful. And when they hurt themselfs and scream.. that being said - the books are great!

I like your hair better without bangs. You have a great hairline! Just my opinion. 🙂

I don't have a choice until my hair grows - it was chopped by accident and I'm wearing clip in bangs until then!
