A comment from another reaction which makes sense. "I honestly think a lot of people missed the point of the whole song anyway. Yes, it's a bit saucy lol BUT...I think the point of it was that all these girls (ABG's or otherwise) were in 2D (on the computer, on the phone, voice chat etc) and how he used to be able to pick up girls for real and hook up or whatever but now even holding hands is made to be a big deal. So, there may be a bunch of girls he's messing with in 20 (online) but as for actual fucks, he's got none (which could also be he doesn't give a fuck, i don't know for sure of course) but he's got the money and would be willing to even fly this girl here to meet in real life just to get the chance to see if there was something there. I think this is the state of modem day dating now...many, many many online "relations" but still not being with anyone in person, and I imagine it's even more that way with celebrities of their status. And I think both of them made it clear that the consent factor is covered....JK says "if you're ready, and if you'll let me... and Jack 'you don't have to guarantee me nothing... so basically they both are saying I really like what I'm seeing but this 20 shit ain't enough...so if you're ready I want to see if we might have something for real...I really want to meet you in person in 3D."

I really appreciate how you talked about the feature. I like the way his rap sounds and the cadence, but the lyrics could have had more substance. I am Gen X and grew up with 2 Live Crew, so to me this rap was tame. The song is an amazing dance track and it's just fun. I love it. The performance video was shot at the Aston House/Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul. Gorgeous!!!! I love the live performance. The choreo is just so catchy and it feels more like JK. The mv felt like the director to me. Although, I did love wet JK. Cant wait for more. On Suchwita he said the mini album was dropping in November. 🔥🔥🔥🔥😘💜🫰🏻

yeah the dead body line comes from a popular movie (i.e. the main character tells his friends he saw a dead body and tells them to come look), and it's also a play off the "drop dead gorgeous" idiom! jack's rap is basically about how he used to be a "manwhore" who didn't really care for commitment until he met the girl and now everything's changed for him where he doesn't want to just keep things to 2D (i.e. an online / digital relationship) and wants the chance to have things be "real", aka 3D. i love the rap personally, but i totally get that it takes some time to grow on you and that not every line is a winner haha.

I love love love the song it's so 2000s Justin Timberlake when he had really good songs and we were all hoping JK would do smth like this bc he'd nail it and we were right 🤩 Also the dancers are his Seven team + the girls from Jam Republic which is a team competing on one of mnet's show right now so this collab is very cool!! I was hoping for it I guess jack's verse is not everyone's taste. Me I wasn't surprised from what I heard about him. i know some ppl didn't like it because they didn't like the lines and rhymes or other people who are unfamiliar with popular rap (i do think some ppl are being overdramatic lmao). There's a version without him for anyone who wants it ! To me he's just so goofy and unserious i was just laughing ngl djjdjd But all in all i don't think people care because it's fun and the song is very very good😮 I think his outro verse is pretty cool even if i was confused at first, I also didn't expect the song to end with him Yes an album is on the way! If everything goes well i think we're getting it in september. He said in suchwita that after seven he had another single (3d) and then his album. I'm so excited to see what he does because he mentioned wanting to conquer all genres so i don't know if that means we're getting something completely different or closer to his singles in style

Yes the dancers are that good because the girls are Jam Republic (check out street women fighter 2) and the guys are one of the best international choreographers/dancers (Brain Puspos, Jake Kodish...the ones I know)

I felt like Jack could have been more creative and witty in his lyricism. Overall I felt his first verse was mediocre and somewhat cringe. Obsessed with the song and jungkook’s creative direction though! 3D is an absolute hit and should be THE song of the year in the States. JK really deserves his flowers! I think you totally missed the meaning of Jack Harlow's first. You notice everything he's saying is in the past tense. It's kind of like this is the way I used to be, I was kind of a player, but now it's all about this one person. "You'd think it was a dead body the way I told my boys to come look". It might make more sense if you think of the sentence backwards. The way I told my boys to come look you'd think it was a dead body.

Thanks for reacting honestly. People either love or don't care for Harlow's parts. I look at a songs success and 3D isn't a success like Seven, the reason: Jack's verses turned people off, instead of turning them on. His flow/voice was a great match for JK's. And fans of Western rap love Jack's verses, but many fans of BTS, felt Jack was disrespectful of them. The Army fanbase is majority female, mid-twenties to mid-thirties, and less likely to enjoy Western rap. People will disagree, so let's talk numbers. In this BUSINESS they tell the true story. 3D is still under 50M views, Seven reached almost 40M views in the first 24 hours. All the numbers dramatically favor Seven over 3D. I don't think Harlow consciously screwed up, but I'm puzzled why he has so many lines as a song feature, curious. Also, he hasn't delivered his fans. Charlie P. and Latto's people got behind their collab's in a big way. To be fair, most fans do the bare minimum for an artist. They may watch the MV a few times or add a song to playlist and listen occasionally, but not much else. It's a small group of hard core fans who work their tales off. They and the gp join forces to give a song longevity and to set as many new records as possible. We're hard at work on JK's behalf as we speak. I wonder if others who love 3D, are doing the same. Bottom line, Jack failed to deliver as well as many of those who adamantly defend his verses. Seven is king.

There’s been a lot of hate online because of Jack Harlow’s verses (eg misogynistic, racist and objectification of women). Honestly, it stems from not understanding it and misinterpretation. After I took the time to understand Jack’s verses, I saw that it actually fits the song lyrically and is not what everyone is accusing him of being. Glad you got the dead body reference (pop culture “Stand By Me” movie).

Im with you about the rap lyrics. Some of them are too explicit for my taste. I think it's better when it's more subtle. For example, when Jungkook says "champagne confetti" and talks about drinking that potion, it sounds classy but if you look into it, you'll see what he's talking about but it's not in "in your face"

It's funny when JH raps and the body is on the ground, everyone stops with the I don't know what he means look. He's saying the girl's body is so good his friends stop and look as people would if they saw a dead body. It's not a demeaning term about women. I'm glad you thought the ending is good because I do too. He's talking about himself with having more than one girl. I saw nothing wrong with his rap in this song personally. I am not young either, I've been on this earth for 60yrs and rap was introduced to the world in the late 70's. I've seen rap evolve from its first existence. With Latto in Seven, a lot of people thought that her verse didn't fit because JK's clean verse made Latto's verse sound almost trashy in comparison. However, with the explicit version, her verse fit quite well, both the flow and the lyrical content. With Harlow in this song, JK is being spicy, but still tasteful and respectful towards women. Harlow isn't. His flow sounds really good but his lyrical content is actually jarring compared to JK's lyrics. At least, to me, it is and I think to a lot of other people, too. Talking about Asian Baby Girls, thots (Those H*** Over There), and using drugs. Not to mention his line about what he has on camera. As you said, it's typical American rap and I don't really like that. If I did, I'd be a lot more into American rappers than I am. JK sounds awesome, but I could have done without Harlow's first. Fortunately, JK released an alternate version for people like me. One where Jack Harlow's verses have been completely removed.

I think for me Harlow's flow is flawless but the lyrics of the rap are a bit objectifying for women. But well, with most american rap if it's a man it tends to be objectifying and if it's a woman it's hypersexualized, you don't get "other" often. The song is still a bop and so nostalgic. I love rap and I don't mind explicit content, but even I agree that those rap lyrics hurt the song so much that it will never reach the success that Seven did. I feel bad for JK and his missed chance to top Seven. In my opinion this song's alternative version is catchier than Seven and could have been a bigger hit.
