This is JK's song, his dance is paying homage to Michael Jackson. He & the other 6 BTS members are all multi-talented, yet remain humble. So happy my daughter introduced me to them over 4 years ago & that their fans (called ARMY) whom they love, are ALL ages. We can't wait until all 7 members' military service have been served. BTS actually had a chance to meet Warren G back in 2014 during American hustle life 😊. They are paying homage to MJ with this song. Usher also said the song reminded him of MJ and leads to the remix. Other than the performance video of the remix, there's a shooting sketch video also that shows interaction between Usher and JK (one of Jungkook's nickname). Usher is one of the artist that JK look up to when he was very young. JK is actually a very very successful fanboy😅. He's a fan of Charlie Puth, he got to work with Charlie Puth in left and right. 71 year old BTS Army here. Sorry, but I don't hear any sample in this song. It was announced by BigHit as a "subtle homage" to Michael Jackson. It was written by American Grammy winning Producer of the Year 2021 Andrew Watt, and a team including Henry Walter, Ali Tamposi, John Bellion, (and Usher wrote his own part in their remix. American Scooter Braun brought about the remix.) It was produced by a well known Canadian producer who goes by "Cirkut". Cirkut has produced for "The Weeknd". Several of these people including Watt and Cirkut were also the songwriting and production team for Jungkook's first record breaking single "Seven" Feat Latto. Thanks! 🫰🏻💜🫰🏻

It's funny you mentioned Warren G's Regulate. Early on in their idol career, all 7 BTS members (Jungkook included) went to the US for a reality show, American Hustle Life, to learn the hiphop ways. Warren G was one of their mentors then and he actually had the boys write their own lyrics to Regulate. Glad you liked JK's song. It wasn't a cover, by the way. This is the main track on his album, Golden. You may want to react to the rest of his album and watch his live performances, esp the surprise one he did at Times Square. The official notice of this performance came out only 30 minutes before the actual performance but the crowd that rushed to the scene (many were Army, the BTS fandom) was as dense as the New Year's Eve crowd.

OMG ok? lol Yea I kinda take that as a compliment that you think someone else that YOU think is more popular had to have made this song.....but NOPE its JK and his team that he worked with no one else but THEM. Sorry but we are super protective with our JK (and all the members of BTS) and to hear you keep saying that it had to be someone elses song he covered is not right or true. I really recommend "A Guide to the BTS Members, The Bangtan 7" by Taylor Mari. It will tell you all about the members including JungKook.
