This is a tribute to MJ. Junkook is a member of BTS, literally the hottest group on the planet. His solo album is called "GOLDEN" is 🔥 🔥🔥 The entire album is in English too. The album came out last month. There are lots of collabs on it too. He did a remix of this song with USHER. On another song, "3D" ft Jack Harlow, he did a remix to "3D" with Justin Timberlake. I hope you check out more BTS as a group and their solo songs. BTS has by far transcended the K-POP label. These guys are something else. Just AMAZING! Unfortunately, all the members are currently serving in the military, as required for all able bodied men between 18-28 years in South Korea. They will be back together in 2025. Their origin story is nothing other than a Nobodies to Legends story. 💜

Jungkook is the youngest member in BTS. BTS has been on the music scene for 10 years, 3 rappers 4 vocalists. The group is on a "pause" as the members complete their 18 month mandatory military service in South Korea, will be back in 2025. There is not definitive definition of KPop and it having to be sung in Korean. It is Korean Pop music and JK is a KPop singer. He talked about wanting to rep KPop well when he was working on the album in the USA. I only point it out because some solos and antis have a push to not allow JK to get any KPop awards because he sang in English. Because of the antis and solos stance, I don’t think JK fans should make a big deal saying it’s not KPop.

MJ was actually a huge influence for all the BTS members. Jungkook and Jimin have done a dance cover of "Black or White" and their song "Dynamite" has a lot of tributes to MJ. Taj Jackson even reacted to it and thanked BTS for such an amazing tribute to his uncle. They performed "Dynamite" for one of the Korean award shows and did a special dance break with MJ moves and Jimin even wore a version of the black suit with the white stripe.

Jungkook just enlisted this week to complete his mandatory military service in South Korea. He’ll be back June 2025. BTS have prepared a sh*t ton of content for us while they’re away. JKs remix with Usher drops this Friday. For you though there’s 10 years of a BTS’ hugely varied discography to explore. This has been a hard week for us who are Jung Kook and BTS fans. Jung Kook and the other remaining 3 members of BTS started their MANDATORY military duties this week. Lots of crying in our community. Rolling Stone has listed him as the only an Asian in their top 200 singers of all-time. This is an homage to a lot of retro funk and Michael Jackson who was a HUGE influence. This is the title track off of his debut album, and he just released a remix of it with Usher. Their mv will be out on Dec 15th. Usher and Justin Timberlake were also role models. He also just release a remix of his 2nd solo song, “3D” with Justin Timberlake. As far as I know there won’t be an mv for it. Also, this week he released a visualizer (basically an MV) for his song, “Hate You”. There are some really good lives of this song and others from his album: iHeart (band with no back up dancers), Audacy Radio, M Countdown, Jimmy Fallon, NYC live surprise concert in a time Square and he did a free concert for fans the day before announcing his military enlistment. (We knew it was coming soon). All BTS members are extremely talented and very different. You should check them out. Not gonna talk about our beloved boy since others already introduced him😊. There's actually 2 mvs for this song. This mv with some kind of storyline and another mv the choreography version. As someone who cannot dance I enjoyed the choreo version more 😅. Also there will be another performance video release on Friday for the Usher remix. They already release the teaser. Jungkook or JK is experimenting with different genres in his solo album. He had uk garage sound for Seven, RnB, ballad, edm...and his album, Golden is 100% english. We all see the Michael Jackson influence as this was meant to be an homage to MJ, one of Jungkook's major influences growing up Jungkook is the main vocalist in the seven-member K-pop group BTS. The group is made up of three main rappers and four main vocalists. They have been doing solo work recently as some of them began their mandatory military service in South Korea over the last several months. As of the 11th of this month the last four have entered the military and therefore their group will not be back together as a group until 2025 and that contract is already been signed. You might be interested in the remix of this song that Jungkook did with Usher.

BTS music is good, but not comparable to this song. People fail to understand how well crafted this is and the level of experience the production team has. Watt and Cirkut waited years to find the right vocalist for Seven. Standing Next To You is even more special. Close enough on the name. Jung Kook has been the Main Vocalist of BTS, just the biggest group on the planet in recent years, and they've been around since June 2013. He's often at the center of their group dances (there are 7 in BTS - 3 rappers and 4 vocalists). He just came out with his very first solo album, all in English (he is from South Korea), which is called GOLDEN. This is the 4th song on the album, but he has designated it as his Title Track. The producers were all here in the U.S. as well, although this video was filmed in an old power plant in Budapest, Hungary. Jung Kook works out a Lot! There are videos out on other songs you can watch, a Live at Times Square TSX stage, live on Jimmy Fallon, live on iHeart Radio with a live band, and more. This WAS a tribute to Michael Jackson. I'll save more for another time if you go further in this journey.

They have a huge discography both as a group, solo projects and collabs with artists like J Cole, Usher, Little Naz X Coldplay, Halsey etc. The US were behind the rest of the world BTS only breaking big there after they produced some pure pop genre in English to cheer the world up post covid. DYNAMITE, BUTTER, IDOL etc. I am a big fan of their Rap line. BTS songs are rather like icebergs. The tip is spectacular but does not represent the whole. Their best songs are very mutilayered and the pg translations lacking. For the rap artists I enjoy the mvs then watch someone like DKDKTV for the breakfown then watch the live performance. They are brilliant live. They are all talented dancers. The dance line are spectacular dancers ( JK is part of the vocal and dance lines). If you are intrested a great taste of a Rap line so and the cinematic quality of the mvs try DAECHWITA August D aks Suga of BTS. All 7 members compose write and produce. Main producers are Suga and RM who is also the main lyricist though he only has a few more credits than Suga.

Would love for you to do more JK! “Hate You” is a ballad off of this same album and is a nice contrast in style to this song. He is incredibly talented, as are all BTS members.

You're correct, this song MV pays homage to MJ. Jungkook intends to move successfully between K-pop and Western pop, before conquering other music genre. So, his debut album, Golden, is entirely in English. A risk for someone who doesn't speak English and knows that many K-pop fans don't approve of "their" artist doing entirely in English songs. The debut single, Seven, features Latto. The producers and co-songwriters for Seven are Andrew Watt & Cirkut, heavy hitters in the industry. They've wanted to work with Jungkook for years, but his company would not let that happen. Still, Jungkook fell in love with Seven and flew to LA to record. The session went so well that Andrew offered him another song, Standing Next to You. JK got so excited he recorded that song in under 4 hours. It's been reported that the entire album was completed in under a week. You understand the talent of this young man now. Jungkook did great work for BTS and will do more in the future, but solo work is the only way to reach his goal of becoming the GOAT. I saw MJ perform live when he and I were teens, I saw JK perform live in 2021 and I promise that the talent of both is eerily similar. JK can be that dude, if he continues working with teams from the West. I hope you'll stick to your original plan and finish Jungkook's discography before you move to the other members. Get to know these guys one at a time. Fans will suggest otherwise, but please note that many have an agenda. Fans of groups haven't changed since the J5 days, feel me. You can find Jungkook's solo discography on Spotify. He has other solo songs, but they are credited under BTS. Please share Jungkook's music with others. Many mistakenly believe he only does K-pop. Not true.

Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS. BTS at the moment are all in the military, and the members did solo albums last year. Jungkook decided to do an all English album. I have always thought JK reminds me of MJ. Watch the FIFA world cup Dreamers. BTS are incredible performers. They are not a boy band. I recommend listening to Kinetic manifesto, Mic Drop, Black Swan, GoGo, You can't go wrong with any of their songs.

Jungkook is an amazing artist and performer. He loves Mickael Jackson and Usher and cited them as inspiration and artists he looks up too since he was a kid. He gave us stellar perfs for SNTY. I love the iheart radio one, the jimmy fallon one and the time square one with the mini crazy pop up concert. All on YT. Jungkook live is chef s kiss. His album Golden explores pop and its variations. Seven ft Latto is awesome and 3D is very 2000s vibes.
